Romney: 'A win looked like it was impossible'

SOUTHFIELD, Michigan (CNN) - Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney claimed victory in Tuesday's Michigan Republican primary, his first major win of the 2008 presidential race, calling it a victory over "Washington pessimism" after second-place finishes in Iowa and New Hampshire.
"Tonight marks the beginning of a comeback - a comeback for America," Romney told supporters in the Detroit suburb of Southfield. "Only a week ago, a win looked like it was impossible, but then you got out and told Americans what they needed to hear."

I don't mind Romney's being Mormon at all. Even if Obama were a Muslim, that's fine as long as he is for the whole country.
On the other hand, I cannot see Huckabee in the White House.
The difference is that Romney was forced to explain his faith, but Huckabee shovels his faith at you.
One question I have to bring up is why are almost all the news stations, including CNN, conveniently leaving out Wyoming's Caucus? I have seen the old tape of Romney in New Hampshire (two silvers and a gold) edited out as though Wyoming did not exist! It should be an eye opener as to the one sided view given by the news media in general. Now of course CNN is not the worst, as MSNBC takes that distinction. They are so heavily one sided I feel like I am watching Venezuelan TV.
In any event, I am happy to hear of Romney's victory in Michigan, so get ready to hear more attacks on his religion, as that will be sure to come up again. As is Guiliani's past marriages, Huckabee's Evangelism, and certainly in the Dem's arena -race.
I would love to witness a program that discusses issues, and does not have four talking heads injecting their opinions after the fact.
If the democrats don't like Mitt, McCain dislikes him, then we know Mitt is the right guy. Sen. John McCain, has tried to push his AMNESTY for ILLEGALS down our throat twice. The reason he can't help our economy is he is more interested in helping the ILLEGALS, he has been in office about 26 years, and sat there watching millions of illegals take over our country and jobs. Arizona is overrun with illegals thanks to him, and Sen.Clinton, Obama. It was reported that when McCain was told the taxpayers and voters wanted a border fence he replied we will give them their "G.D fence". He is in the wrong party. The Dems know that most Republicans will never vote for him. Thats why the liberal press love him. The press don't like Mitt. He is a good man. As far as religion goes, I worked for the Mormon church at one time, I am Catholic, they are wonderful people, I would and will vote for him anytime. To all you Mormon bashers, Democrat Harry Reid is a Mormon.

I'm glad insane McCain didn't win, Hickupbee didn't win, so it was right for romney won.

Another seemingly "impossible" victory for a CFR candidate. First Billary's win over Obama and now this. Is that fish I smell?

If the USA was 90% LDS you better believe Romney would make his religion the central theme instead of trying to hide its true origins and true intentions. He IS a witch who believes in magical powers of normal objects. That, Sir , is the very definition of a witch!
