McCain: I'm sending Sly Stallone to take care of Chuck Norris

(CNN) - Earlier this week, martial arts star Chuck Norris questioned John McCain's ability to serve as president, because of the Arizona senator's age - at 72, he'd be the oldest first-term president in American history.
At Thursday night's debate, McCain had a response for the action star, who has endorsed Republican rival Mike Huckabee:
"Now that Sylvestor Stallone has endorsed me, I'm sending him over to take care of Chuck Norris right away."

It's funny McCain and Huckabee have chosen for their celebrity face-men a couple of guys known for their representations of violence. I guess, considering the fear-mongering most of the Republicans do, that's very appropriate.

I think it is pretty sad getting actors involved with endorsements. Chuck would take out Sly pretty quickly though. So does Chuck's comment mean that they also endorse age discrimination? Interesting.

For the first time since the 08 Presidential getting nasty and nasty, we have funny thing like this. I love you Mr McCain, but you can’t have my vote since I fell in love with Donkey party for years.
By the way, Chuck is pretty older than Sly, but Chuck really is a martial arts star, Sly is not. So Chuck can knock Sly down in the first … term.

Ron Paul was the only candidate who actually addressed ISSUES, for the 3 minutes that he was allowed to speak.

Great, now we have two muscle heads whose IQ's couldn't fill a Dixie Cup involved in the presidential primaries. We get the government that we deserve.
Chuck Norris is obviously too old to do ANYTHING....he is almost 70!!
And after Sly takes care of Chuck, McCain will send him after all his GOP rivals, and then the Dems, and McCain/Stallone team will take over the White House. They will then go over to Iraq and start fighting their 100 year war there. And then, we will all live happily ever after!
These guys are making GWB look coherent and intelligent – is this the grand 21st century that GOP envisions for the US? God bless America!

This Chuck Norris/Sylvester Stallone thing is pretty stupid....about what one would expect from the Republicans. Wasn't Sly busted for possession of human growth hormone (to which he pleaded guilty) at an Australia airport last year? One look at him these days and its obvious he's on the juice! I guess a juiced up celebrity endorsement is pretty valuable to Republican candidate. Talk about pandering to the lowest common denominator.

Sly uses a machine gun that would make Chuck "Pushing 70 Himself" Norris irrelevant.
As for the debaters, Mitt looked smooth, except not addressing the tax increases he gave while governor of MA (I was a resident there during his reign) and took credit for the economy (um, he was governor during a 4 year span when nearly all the states turned around because he started just after 9/11 – don't take credit for a national trend, Empty Suit).
Don't like Mitt's views? Wait 5 minutes till they change.
