Obama hints at a McCain nomination while jabbing Clinton

Obama also criticized opponent Hillary Clinton in the same sentence, seeming to imply that Clinton and McCain share similar positions on a variety of issues.
"It is time for new leadership that understands that the way to win a debate with John McCain or any Republican who is nominated is not by nominating someone who agreed with him on voting for the war in Iraq," Obama said, taking a swipe at Clinton's 2002 vote in favor of the Iraq war resolution.
McCain, fresh off his win in Florida Tuesday, is now being billed as the GOP frontrunner.
Obama continued the attack on Clinton, implying she also agreed with McCain when it came to giving George Bush "the benefit of the doubt on Iran," and criticizing her for "embracing the Bush-Cheney policy of not talking to leaders we don’t like."
The Illinois senator implied that he "actually differed with McCain by arguing for exceptions for torture before changing positions when the politics of the moment changed."
The Clinton campaign was quick to respond — so quick, in fact, that spokesman Phil Singer emailed a rebuttal to reporters before Obama had even delivered the comments.
Responding to what the Obama campaign sent out as remarks "prepared for delivery," Singer wrote that, with a single exception, the promotion of Gen. George Casey - the two senators have nearly-identical voting records on Iraq.
He also added that Obama is misrepresenting Clinton's position when it comes to the issues of Iran and diplomacy.
In terms of torture, Singer wrote that Obama "couldn't be more wrong." After meeting with various military officials and reading defense reports, he said, Clinton "concluded that torture cannot be part of the American policy, period."

ABC your wrong. I am also monitoring the election process as foreigner and if I could, I voted for Obama. But since USA is still the Superpower in this world you get this attention and wheather you like it or not foreigners opinions. The USA don't stick to their country either and by the way you should be more concerned of your fellow citizens. Their vote will count and I hope they don't vote for Hillary!

I continually ask those same questions and, of course, no response. Then consider this, G.W. Bush, who was governor of Texas and grew up around the political arena, had more experience than Hillary. Where did that get us? Experience does not equate to being a good president. That's faulty logic, which explains why many of Hillary supporters are less educated (and informed) than Barack supporters.
One more thing- Barack didn't break with the DNC and campaign in FL. He ran commercials on CNN, which is nationally televised. So I guess FL should have censored CNN from being televised in that state?

When Hillary was in the white house She apparently wasn't very close with her husband or the things going on in the oval office personal or bussiness . Tim Russert interview she said she nows nothing about any of the scandels or her husbands pardons I don't see how that counts experience.. With all her experience what's her great plan for the economy It's the same as Obama's Only difference she has to many enemies to get any thing accomplished

Why do people thing Obama is so great and so different? He doesn't have any ideas, just complains about everyone else's. He doesn't even vote on things that are really important. He plays it so safe how is anyone to know where he stands on anything. More often than not he when he does vote, he votes the same as Hillary no matter what his lips say later.

Obama is absolutely right on Hillary's attitude toward foreign policy. She voted for a war that was ridiculous and unfounded from its infancy in the halls of Congress and in the Oval Office, and she voted to further our hostility with Iran. We NEED a President who isn't too arrogant to talk to world leaders who we don't happen to agree with.
I can't stress enough how important it is to elect someone who is not crazy on foreign policy. Obama can adapt the U.S. government to face the changing dynamics of the world, including the rise of China and the political, economical, and social leverage of Europe.
