Bill Clinton takes on heckler

Watch Bill Clinton take on a heckler Thursday.

(CNN) - Bill Clinton engaged with a heckler head on Thursday at a Denver campaign stop.

The former president had just begun his speech when a man began to shout about 9/11 conspiracies.

As security attempted to escort him out, Clinton stopped his speech, saying, "What are you screaming about? Let him talk."

"Are you one of those it-was-an-inside-job guys? Let me tell you something…I let you be rude and interrupt me, scream at the top of your lungs. 9/11 was not an inside job; it was an Osama bin Laden job with 19 people from Saudi Arabia," Clinton continued. "They murdered 3000 Americans and others foreigners, including over 200 other Muslims. And we look like idiots, folks, denying that the people who murdered our fellow citizens did it when they are continuing to murder all around the world. So we heard from you: you go away."

It seems that Mr. Clinton was perhaps a bit too prepared for the "interruption." I also doubt that someone from Obama's campaign would want to give Clinton the opportunity to show his patriotism. I wouldn't go so far as to say that the Clinton campaign planted the heckler, only that it appears very suspicious.

CNN is working night and day the conjure questions pointed at Hillary in such a negative tone, especially Wolf. He has always done that. This is an election Hillary versus CNN & Obama. You guys need to sit in someone's living room and listen to yourselves.

No one can lead this country quite like an intelligent person as Hillary. Quit picking on Clinton. You should not be able to get by with your favortism.

Tonight, I feel sure Wolf will not allow the candidates to speak about the issure. Hillary would literally blow him out of the water. Be fair and let the two compete. Let's have a level playing field.

The same for your favorite, McCain. Give Rommey a chance.

These people blaming the Obama campain for the heckler, sound as nutty as the "9/11 was an inside job" heckler himself. Clinton supporters sound desperate when they try to advocate these bizzare conspiracy theories.

By the way, you Clinton supporters may want to read Jo Becker's and Don Van Natta, Jr.'s article in the New York Times entitled "An Ex-President, A Mining Deal & A Big Donor; Huge Kazakh deal follow's Financier's trip with Clinton, Precedes Dontation."

Obama's declaration that "none of our hands are clean" is accurate (there is, of course, the Tony Rezko situation...although there is clearly no proof of wrongdoing on Obama's part...and there is that photo of Bill & Hillary posing with Rezko as well, lol). However, Obama's connection to Rezko doesn't nearly compare with some of the things revealed in this article about Bill Clinton.

We'd better move in a better and new direction before more significant damage is done.

We only want our voices heard.

Sometimes I wonder if fighting it is even worth it.

    Can't beat 'em? Join 'em!

Bill is the best!!! He kicked that heckler's butt!

911 wouldn't have happend if gutless CLinton had got a hold of Osama when he had the chance, what did he do, he let him get away, so yes it was an inside job...by Clinton himself. The Heckler was right, you morons that suck up to the Clintons need to go watch your soaps and shutup!

Osama Bin Laden is NOT on the FBI's most wanted list because of 9/11. He is wanted because of the bombings in 93.

I'm not saying it was an inside job, but there ARE many questions that SHOULD be answered.

Here is the thing. I'm an Obama supporter, but i don't think that this was an Obama Supporter. I do agree with Bill on this one issue, and commend him for how it was handled. Whether your for or against a certain candidate Heckling is not the way to show your support.

    Hey Gina,

I am pretty sure that was not someone from the Obama Camp. Remember, we are typically the "intelligent" ones.

There seems to be a pattern here. Hillary was heckled in NH by an angry man and she gained the pity of women because of what the heckler said to her. Now Bill is heckled by a man and made to look like a hero because he defended the country....boy this is fun...get a new tactic Clinton camp.... Bill, can you help me get a contact in Eurasia, thanks...of course I'll be happy to donate to your lib and to Hillary's camp.

Not bad, but Bill's best line so far came in Missouri after they gave him the Key to the City. With a huge grin on his face, he said...

"I'll try not to open too many unwarranted doors tonight, but I like having a key!"

You people represent the lowest common denominator of Human intelligence. If you don't realize that this is just another political trick, a planted question probably, or just the result of [C]linton [N]ews [N]etwork's perverted bias, then I can only laugh a hearty laugh.

What in the world is it with America. Why do you people worship these liars??? You got to know they both lie through their teeth. It is said the educated prefer Obama. Maybe that is the problem?? Your not educated?? There should be a I.Q. test mandatory for voters.

I love Bill, but that was very unPresidential behavior. Don't stoop to a heckler's level, even if he/she is wrong. I think Bill is losing his mind or, at the very least, he has certainly lost his edge!

oops! Don't hammer at the Clintons too hard! Obama has his nails to hammer at also. Don't make this a race of who did what! Then we all lose!

This may be the only positive thing you hear reported on the campaign till next week. I'm so tired of the Obama love fest. I'll vote Mccain.

The chances are far greater that this was a Hillary supporter (a plant, if you will) trying to restore some dignity to the Bill, which obviously also helps her. I cannot even imagine why an Obama supporter would do this, there is nothing to be gained.
