To all those folks saying "I wish Obama would say something of substance." You can't POSSIBLY have been paying any attention whatsoever this entire time. If you had, you would know that he constantly says things with substance. You must only have listened to the post-Iowa and post-South Carolina speeches. That's the only explanation for your ignorance on the real substance of Obama's positions. PAY ATTENTION and maybe, just maybe, we'll get it right this time.

Its all about mandating healthcare now on the debate
I think Obama's plan is much better, mandate healthcare for certain sections of the populace but not everyone-depending on the circumstances
His view is clearly well defined and more realistic and the comparison he makes with california is good

honestly, universal health care sounds great, but isn't perfect. what it will certainly accomplish is increasing patient loads for doctors, decreasing quality of care, and increasing the cost of insurance overall for more malpractice suits. malpractice insurance is a big reason that health care is so expensive now anyway. there needs to be action taken against frivolous suits and their filers first.

Hillary is so clear adn concise in her responses – Barak is stumbling on his answer particulary on health insurance.....almost as though he doesn't believe in his own answers........

Having Hillary in the white House is a BAD idea because that would mean Bill Clinton will be roaming around the white house with nothing to do but chase the interns around. Can we really afford another 4 years of distraction? I sure hope not.

    PLEASE VOTE OBAMA, OBAMA, OBAMA

I like enlisting the American people into a health care plan. We should all be involved in matters that concern the American people.

Back in the day I was afraid of nuclear power but I am seeing that to provide large amounts of power that the nuclear power solution must be throughly considered.I wouuld like both candidates to comment It is one of the big differences as I understand it. Hillary being in favor

Pandering and smoke blowing competition. If Cnn would have given Ron Paul equal time the smoke would be cleared. don't you know that faux news ratings took a hit for their treatment of Ron Paul . guess who's next?

also how are we going to afford universal healthcare. realize universal healthcare hasn't worked in any other country in the world and has resulted in many doctors leaving the medical field. try to see a doctor in london in canada in less than 4 weeks notice

Barack looks presidential.....he seems to inspire nationalism.....i see why the Kennedy's say he is like John Kennedy. Mrs. Clinton sounds/looks as she has forever and ever and ever....more of the same?

I'm wondering why the director is choosing to showcase the celebrities in the audience. This is about real people, large topics, and the future of the country. Must we inject even this arena with the celebrity worship of this country?

I think that Senator Obama's health care policy is flawed. If children are mandated to be insured, doesn't he realize that their health is vulnerable if a parent becomes seriously ill and is not insured? The loss of income to the family will affect the childrens' nutrition not to mention the effects of stress on their health.

I liked how they started out praising Edwards and stressing how they were much more the same compared to each other than either of them compared to a Republican. I think they both look and sound pretty good.
