Huckabee to appear on SNL

PLANO, Texas (CNN) – Mike Huckabee will make a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend, the show’s first episode since the writers’ strike ended.

It will be hosted by former SNL head writer Tina Fey with Carrie Underwood as the musical guest.  Huckabee will appear in a skit and gave it a modest promotion in Plano, Texas on Wednesday. “Be sure and watch that,” he encouraged reporters before catching himself, “let me find out what the skit is then I’ll tell you whether I want you to watch it or not.”

Huckabee is a regular on the late night show circuit but this will be his first appearance on SNL.  Barack Obama also made a special appearance in November and John McCain hosted the show in 2002.

McCain did a great job when he was on the show, there's a video of him singing in a skit circulating on youtube.... great sense of humor to have done that. Huckabee on the show.... what can i say? he seems to really be enjoying his current job. LOL...

Is Huckabee into pure entertainment now? Or will he go back to entertaining us a regular basis on the campaign trail? Get real, we need a President who has the know how and intelligence to lead this nation. Huckabee is NOT that man!

Why does Huckabee continue on although he has no chance of winning the nomination? This is your answer.

Vote for a "Statesman" vote for Mike Huckabee. Most generally the one with the largest bank roll wins.
With a little help we can change America and return rule to the people.
