I'm glad all of these guys are okay.
Regardless of their party affiliation, they are human beings (just like the rest of us... except for Hillary supporters]) whose lives are priceless.

Hillary supporters... just kidding We have to unite. 🙂
    Just a little humor

Three senators I have or would have voted for on any given presidential ticket.

Sen. Hagel had been delivering what should have been the Democratic response to W's hogwash for years. I hope Hagel resurfaces in somebody's cabinet, preferably Obama's. Heck, let's get Biden into a cabinet position too ... poor Dick Lugar, can't believe he's had to put up with 8 years of this expletive.

Am glad to hear all are safe and sound.

Obama/Hagel '08 -the real dream ticket.

This sounds like the beginning of a terrible 1980's movie: war vet senators are forced to land in hostile territory and relive past battles. Kerry revets back to his swift boat days, turns into Rambo and defeats the Taliban, single handedly. Afterwards, he writes a constitution; war over. Glad to hear everyone is alright.

I do hope that they rest awhile and visit with our troops.
The elite of the world (with the taxpayers money) are
egotistical big shots.. Are we supposed to feel bad for them
    or WHAT?

Big friggin' deal. Where's the news story every time a soldier, or a member of the military has to make an emergency landing.

Never heard of Obama going to Iraq or Afganastan, too dangerious. Stay here and still miss 40% of the senate votes.

I'm glad they're okay. It's ashame that people would attempt to mix their political beliefs with an almost tragedy, expecially when some of these people have obviously not done their homework.

Yeah, it's a good idea for Presidential candidates and well known politicians to go over there and risk more of our young men and womens lives (as the soldiers would be asked to protect them from harm) just for a photo op...that sounds more like something only Bush, Cheney and Hillary would do!
