Clinton raises $35 million in February

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/02/28/art.clintonmoney.ap.jpg caption=" Clinton raised $36 million in February."](CNN) - Hillary Clinton raised $35 million in February, more than double what the New York senator raised the month before, her campaign announced Thursday.

Barack Obama spokesman Bill Burton meanwhile indicated Obama's total for the same period will be considerably higher than that, the AP reported.

In January, Clinton raised nearly $14 million, compared to Obama's $36 million. Earlier this month, the New York senator revealed she loaned her campaign $5 million in an effort to stay competitive with Obama heading into the February 5 round of primaries.

Good for Hillary, I'm sure that helps boost her spirit.

Lets see of that 35Million, she will repay herself for the 5Million she loaned herself plus interest. Sounds like Hillary is making Money Personally off her own Campaign.

Sort of telling when Romney loaned his campaign a ton of Money but did not charge interest or even repay himself with Campaign Donations.

Clinton Loans her Campaign Money, Charges interest for it and you the donators have just payed her back her 5 mill+interest.

She is definatley smarter then her supporters. Once she realized she's going to lose this, she figures she needs to start making some money off of you people.

Release the Tax Records Hillary so we can see how much you are benefitting from us Tax Payers.

Does the 35 mil include the 5 mil loan? Also why announce today, did they forget its a leap year! Also expect Obama's campaign to have raised in excess of 50mil.

The amount of money Hillary raised in February is very impressive ... I wonder how much of it was a loan from her own funds? I'd also like to know the number of new donors she attracted ... I'm betting it's not nearly as impressive a number as the dollar figure!

oh great, so now she can blow people hard earned dollars on frivilous expenses. Everyone who gives her money should check out how much she blew on hotel bill in Las Vegas, well over $100,000 compared to about $42,000 spent by Obama campaign in same time period. Before she says she is going to fix our economy she needs to learn to control her diahreaa of the wallet spending habits.

Hard to feel good about $35m completely, utterly wasted, when you consider the good $35m would do put elsewhere rather than on this candidate.

Hmm when she loses Tuesday will she send that moneyu back to the three or four people who donated it or will it just go into her pockets? More than likely some of it will go into her pockets as "interest" on the 5 mil she "loaned" her campaign.

Okay I know that she will turn most of it over to the DNC but just could not resist a little nudging of the Clintonistas.

Good for Clinton, does that mean now her campaign can pay all her restaurant bills and hotel bills on time, and not "Forget" to pay some of them?

The Clinton supporters are waking up. Enough non sense about alowing Obama out spend us and hence having 4x more media exposure in all those places where they have won.
Clinton has the substance, let us help her get where she ought to be, the White House.
    Go Hillary!!!

Let's see...35million and No Glorified Endorsements From The Media and she is poised to win Texas, Ohio, Vermont and Rhode Island. When she wins those states, she can least say she's a better businesswoman than Senator Obama after he implied he was a better businessman than Mitt Romney at the Hollywood debate.
Hmmmm let's sit back and enjoy the polls swaying back to Senator Clinton...especially after Ralph Nader was glorified by the media during the past week.

I wonder how much is her OWN money . Why is she has NOT re least her taxes.? What are the Clinton's HIDING ?
I for one don't want a president that lieing . And HIDING the truth. We have that now . With BUSH .
We are so very sick of this crap . It been 6 years now and where still in Iraq . My son. She can not not matter how you look at it flop now . She voted for this war . As well as McCain. What is the fight . She going to come after McCain about what. ? They both support this war in IRAQ.
So she raised money in Feb . So what Barack has NOT have to give his campaign is own money . Also he has NOT have to change his staff .
