Clinton campaign raises $3 million in a day

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Clinton's campaign said it raised $3 million in the day after its string of victories."](CNN) - Hillary Clinton’s campaign has raised $3 million online since her string of victories Tuesday night, an aide said Thursday.

Since lending her campaign $5 million shortly before the February 5 Super Tuesday contests, Clinton’s fundraising fortunes have improved considerably, though Barack Obama’s campaign has continued to outspend her.

Donations to Clinton’s campaign climbed from $14 million in January to roughly $35 million in February. Obama’s campaign raised $36 million in January, and has not yet released its February fundraising numbers. His advisers have said only that the total is “considerably higher” than Clinton’s.

The New York senator won three out of four Democratic primaries Tuesday night, beating Obama in Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island. Obama claimed a victory in Vermont.

1:00 p.m. UPDATE: Clinton's campaign announced it has raised $4 million since Tuesday's contests and $6 million in the month of March.

God. I just HATE to see her face. One of the creepiest fear mongering, power mongering, manipulative witch. Sorry to say this, but I MEAN IT.

Oh yeah Clinton News Network. I know this wouldn't be posted, but guess what, I DON'T CARE ANYMORE NOR DO I EXPECT YOU TO APPROVE IT.

On a further Note, we must realize that Obama is going to have a hard coordinating his campaign in the coming weeks. He will have to put a tight lid on any attacks on Clinton coming from low level staffers and senior economic advisors. His campaigns amorphous structure will buckle under the tight scrutiny and pressure. Obama can be a blank slate and relatively stable but the same cannot be said for some of the erratic things he lets aids say. EX: Obama said alleging plagerism was "silly". Later that night his camp released a statement accusing Clinton of plagerism. They think the American people can't recognize a good cop bad cop routine.

3 mil after a few wins is not alot.........thats average 30mil.......she doesnt have a chance to catch him.....only way is to cheat..........and count florida/ichican which wont happen.......good for media hype though.......superdelegates wont overturn will of the people.....that would go down as one of the most disgusting thing in history......clinton supports....coming away with a net 10 delegate count on states she had huge advantages in was awful......BARACK OBAMA.....DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE

Plain and simple Obama is just not qualified to be President. If he is the nominee I will vote for a Republican for the first time in my life.

I need to see the books for this one. She can't show us her tax returns but says she raised 3 million dollars in a day.

The American public must look like we have stupid printed on our foreheads. Try another lie Hillary. This one won't work.

  14. Sick of Obama.

We should do away with caucuses. It generates anything but problem. Obama wins caucuses by cheating. I'm so sick of him. Please somebody take him away already. I can't stand both ugly Obama and that b!tch Michele.

Yes We Will, Yes We Will......Raul Diaz, this is what Hillary supporters chant. It means, WE WILL make a difference, not a "hope we can".

Hillary used less money to win big. Good job!

After 11 losses, she still can come back win 3 out of 4. She is so strong. She is a fighter and that's what we need for president!

Hillary, yes we will! All the way to the White House!

Obama can raise all the money in the world like he did and Hillary still won Ohio and Texas...and if it happened once it will happen again.....face it Obama people the momentum is gone....the people have decided and I can see it now, both candidates will be short of the 2025 delegates needed, but Hillary will beat him with the superdelegates.

    Go Hillary Go!!!!!

Obama supporters just couldn't believe that Hillary has a strong coalition behind her, so strong that no matter how much money Obama outspent, he lost.

had to laugh at posters on the earlier entry that try to minimize Hillary not releasing her tax documents. it's because they know their gal is hiding something. don't we all. the Clinton's are up to their eyeballs in it. no more Bush/Clinton rule!!!!!

Wel, for one thing. Hillary has until April 15 to file her tax returns, just like all Americans.

Obama, will you tell us how much you raised in Feb, and included Oprah's and Rezko's donations please.

Also, If Obama wins the nomination, I don't believe he will ever win in Michigan, and Mi is a very important state to win the election. As is OHIO.

So, all you Obama supporters who are so vindictive to Clinton, you better think again.....because we just might have a McCain/Bush 3rd term.

I wonder how much of the $3 million she donated herself? I guess we would know if she would release her tax returns...

Barack's pair of deuces are showing from the sweat on his brow. His beginner's luck is running out. Count the Florida and Michigan votes! And let's send Barack home to be an Ill-i-noisy again. If he loses, will his wife stop being a "Proud American"?
