Blitzer: Clinton 'has recaptured her mojo'

Clinton bounced back this week, scoring wins in three states.

(CNN) - This was a strong week for Hillary Clinton. It was not such a strong week for Barack Obama. Her campaign could have easily collapsed if she had lost the primaries in Texas and Ohio. He had all the political momentum going for him. Now, having won those two states plus Rhode Island, she has recaptured her mojo, even as she still remains behind him in the all-important delegate count.

Her friend and supporter, James Carville, our CNN political analyst, says that she must now win the Pennsylvania primary on April 22 and then go on to win the re-votes in Michigan and Florida – assuming they can be organized and paid for. He says that if she does win those three major states, she will get the nomination because the super delegates will flock to her. Her campaign’s argument has been that she carried the biggest states – New York, California, Ohio, Michigan, Texas, Florida, etc. – and that would make her more likely to beat John McCain in a general election.

Obama’s supporters have argued that the candidate who has won the most elected or pledged delegates should get the nomination. It’s as simple as that. Even if Hillary Clinton were to run the table on those big upcoming states, he might still be slightly ahead in pledged delegates, because of the proportionate way the Democrats divide up the delegates in the states. (The Republicans, in contrast, have a winner-take-all rule in many of the states.)

Here’s the bottom line: there’s an excellent chance this contest is heading to the Democratic Convention in Denver – August 25-28. Mark your calendars.

Hillary has gotten beaten by the press, with most of the media in the tank for Bambi, especially MSNBC – the official Obama Network. Yet she endures and wins! Every time the pundits are quick to put her away, she proves them wrong. Obamamaniacs just can't accept that the majority of Democrats want Hillary to fight for them, big states prove it. After eight years of Bush, we don't want to kiss and make-up, we don't want to hold hands. Bush and the Republican Congress have shoved their agenda down our throats; we should roll over hold hands now? No way! Hillary has been around long enough to know there are times to fight and times to reach out. Bambi just won't cut it.

I read all these comments and all I'm hearing are a bunch of Obama roadies whining! It really scares me that these whiners are deciding the future of our country.

Hope doesn't bring home a paycheck!

Since I hope and maybe even if I believe that I will hit the lottery –
It must be true! Ha Ha

Roger... Hillary is deceitful dont you remember the mysterious death of an arkansas man that was going to be a witness for watergate? Dont you remember the shreading of document party at the tanning salon? You sure have a short memory for being in Arkansas as all the scandals and illegal activities that the Clintons have been engaged in

It really does show the ignorance and fear of the Obama supporters when they cry over Clinton coverage.

You need to look at each candidate in the same light. It's ok that BHO has a lot of the media coverage when he wins, but oooooohhhh no she gets it too when she wins. Hillary votes on tough decisions and she is bbbbaaaaadddd. BHO doesn't make decisions. He's just present! (129 times). But bad Hillary doesn't show her tax returns...oh nooooo. She must be hiding something soooo well the IRS hasn't figured out her dirty little secrets. Good God! She is successful. That scares those of you who are not. You know, I seem to have heard something like this in junior high.

There are a lot of groups out there that want to be treated special but when someone else gets the same or equal treatment it's not fair! I see a lot of BHO supporters doing that very thing! Go figure! I would think the opposite of his core! (Let’s see you post this truth CNN)

Have all you Hillary supporters forgotten the incredible amount of corruption stretching all the way back to their Arkansas days? Do you have any idea how many people have been silenced or otherwise dealt with under shady circumstances who have criticised them?

What in the world are you people thinking in Ohio and Texas by bringing this same group of malfeasance back into the White House?

Lastly, Hillary is a self-professed "man trapped in a woman's body" so you're not even putting a real woman in the White House, you're electing a big fake. That's why it doesn't care what women Bill is with.

If it's Health Care we want, then Obama can provide that just as well.
Review your history of the 90's Hillary supporters and think carefully about what you're doing.....

If by Mojo you mean the deceit and negativity that resonates with our elderly and less educated voters, then yes, she's got tons of Mojo. If she has her way, she'll use her "mojo" to steal the democratic nomination from the candidate with the most popular vote and the most delegates. This woman is toxic. I don't agree with McCain's politics, but I would rather have a president I respect than a president who I fear.

I will say that this idea Carville raised about Obama forking over 15 million to fund the redo primaries in both Florida, and Michigan, negating any liability or penalty to those states for part of this debacle , certainly raises some questions. I think to expect Barrack Obama to contribute money ,donated by his supporters to help him run his campaign, for paying for these primaries is ludicrous. It's the democratic party,Florida legislators and Michigan legislators, who are responsible for this situation and all should be asked to contribute.; not Obama, who simply followed the rules as presented to him and is probably "just fine , thankyou" not to worry about the redo. obviously , if Senator Clinton feels it's in her interest to finance the redo, she should. Most Obama supporters, unlike Clinton supporters, struggle to make ends meet each week, they don't have the wear withal to pay for mistakes not made by them or the candidate they are supporting

The Clintons are damaging the Democrat party. The negative
campaign they are running are turning a lot of people away. They
truly are campaigning "the Republican way" and if the party doesn't step in, the Democrats will lose the general election. Hillary has lost the repect I once had for her and she is only thinking about herself, not the party or the country.

I would like to know why no one in the Government has Pressed the Clintons to open up their documents and used them to press charges on them and put them in jail.

How many of these people in Washington are guilty of something that is tied to the Clintons? Makes you wonder when nothing has been done with any of these Scandals that they have been involved in and never convicted of.

I have Never in my life seen so many things and illegal activities against someone and they slip by everytime.. documents get mysteriously destroyed, or blacked out, or missing, and people become missing and dead as well. What kind of Conspiracy is this??

Change Washington... dont let these Washington people rule our nation.. Its OUR NATION!!! Take it away from them

    Vote Obama!!

CNN shouldn't laugh that Fox News considers itself "fair and balanced."

The fact that you continue to use former Clinton advisers and administration officials as commentators is beyond me; all of the 'analysis' that they spew is immediately duplicitous.

I used to be an avid CNN viewer and I have to say that I just can't stomach it anymore. I've moved over to MSNBC; at least they alternate their bias in both directions.

That Clinton is willing to state that in essence Mccain would be a better president than Obama should have all democrats alarmed. It is very disheartening to realize that her enemies on the right may have been right about the ruthless calculating nature of her and her husband. From being basically undecided I have given $1500 to Obama in the last month and will never again vote for a Clinton.

Wolfe Blitzer should be on the payroll for the Clinton campaign. He has lost (if he ever had) all semblance of impartiality when it comes to reporting about Hillary Clinton.

By the way, CNN, FOX and all the news outlets made a big deal out of Obamas supposed comments to the Canadians about NAFTA. It has been discovered that it was actually a CLINTON aide who made that comment. Where is the correction and vindication of Mr. Obama's Campaign.

With all the bias going on in the press in favor of Hillary Clinton, how can she loose?

The Clinton camp is beyond funny. She has Wolf!! Spreading all of his lies, and mis-information. I said that if she was the President we would end up in worst shape than we are in now. I get so sick of the sanctimonious who try and act like anything that is said against this lying woman is an attack. She is the worst type of person. Anyone who cant see her selfish motivations with all of this bull crap, needs mental help. I hope you all get what you deserve, like you have for the last seven years.
