Girl in Clinton ad supports Obama

Watch Casey Knowles on American Morning Monday.

(CNN) - Casey Knowles has graced the airwaves this month as the unwitting star of a headline-grabbing campaign ad for Hillary Clinton. But the 17-year-old is hoping to grace the small screen this campaign year for another presidential hopefully: Clinton’s Democratic rival, Barack Obama.

Stock footage of an 8-year-old Knowles sleeping – shot when she worked as an extra in TV commercials - was used in Clinton’s “red phone” ad, which asked “Who do you want answering the phone at 3 a.m.?” in the case of a foreign policy crisis.

But the high-school senior – who will be eligible to vote in the general election – is actually a passionate supporter of Barack Obama’s, and has been volunteering for the Illinois senator’s campaign.

“I think it would be wonderful if Barack Obama and I could get together and do a counter-ad,” she told CNN Saturday.

Appearing on CNN's American Morning Monday, Knowles said she was shocked to discover she was in the commercial, and said it made her feel disloyal to Obama.

"It makes me feel a little disloyal and kind of," she said. "It hurts that footage of me would contribute to a candidate that I'm not necessarily supporting. Hopefully Mr. Obama would forgive me. "

Knowles, who lives in Washington State, also said she plans on helping Obama in Oregon ahead of that state's primary in May.

"They want to get me down there and hopefully get me to help support and get campaigning going on down there," she said.

In Wyoming on Friday, Obama told voters at a campaign event that people shouldn’t worry about what he’d do if an emergency 3 a.m. call came into the White House when he was president.

“What do people think I’m going to do? I’m going to answer the phone,” he said.

Obama served 8 years in the illinois senate. Now he is the state senator. He has more legislative experience than Hillary does. Comments that say otherwise are clearly misinformed.

The Clintons are only saying Obama/Clinton so they will get more votes.I say Obama/Edwards. If Obama went as VP ,he would have to not only, have Billary to contend with he would have Bill to put up with as thats why she says she has the experience,as he will be right there to help her, he will be the VP like they say she thought she was the VP for Bill.

Terrific. The "youth" vote. They are going to vote for Obama because apparently he's "cool". Once they've stuck eveyone with their choice, they'll get bored and go back to U-Tube ane Facebook and everyone else can live with it.

Does anybody really care what this little girl does?
Just anything to promote Obama right CNN?
Pathetic to see so many people voting for a guy who has done nothing, and votes "present" on 130 bills. The only thing he floats on is "I was against the war"
I wish he could take his sorry-a... back to Illinois.

We do NOT want him as our President.

"Barack Obama should just quit. If he has not been able to deliver a knock out punch to Hillary by now how the heck could he possibly beat McCain?"

Obama's whole campaign has been about not stooping down to the traditional political mudslinging and negative attacks. What exactly are you expecting him to do??? Punch Hillary in the face during their next debate?

I think the negative attacks Hillary is throwing Obama's way are hurting the party, and she needs to stop. Obama has a bunch of democratic supporters......How does she think she's doing herself any favors in November if she angers all of us right now. No better way to hurt voting turnout and send people Ralph Nader's way.

Hillary Clinton needs to get out of the race so the Democrats can start focusing on the real target. The numbers don't lie.....

After crunching the numbers from RCP Obama wins if he averages just 46.4% percent of the remaining pledged and unpledged delegates. He will go over the halfway threshhold while Clinton can not if she doesn't get at least 59.5% of the remaining delegates. If Michigan and Florida end up revoting the numbers change slightly (because the number needed to win increases) with Obama needing just 47.4% and Clinton needing at least 56.9% of all remaining delegates.

If Obama gets any higher than the 46.4% in any state the the less percentage of delegate he will need. If Clinton gets and less than the 59.5% the percentage needed goes up for her and so on.

The race is basically over and this is why the Clintons are begging for the SPLIT TICKET. Clinton needs it, Obama does not. Clinton needs Michigan and Florida, Obama does not. Let's end this mess because the numbers don't lie.

There is always much talk of tyranny of the young, and the wisdom of the old. But wisdom has come from the past eight years of the old?

America is tired of these old held notions of the old know what is best, and people are beginning to question the old held notions of the past. America is on the path towards change and that includes giving up what we once believed.

Maybe if the old and young democrats could realize that both candidates offer a better future, they could behind this bickering found on these comments that the young are too stupid when indeed many of the young are more educated than the elder ones.

Obama supports are such haters. Everyday the same people log on here to blog hate.

Anyone who was awake in the 90's knows that America was at it's best. The whole world loved us, gas was under a $1, health care was more accessable, more than 27 million jobs were created.

CNN is in love with Obama, he never gets hard questions, never.

    Hillary all they way!!!

And again Obama is cool as a cucumber when faced with Hillary's kitchen sink approach...

“What do people think I’m going to do? I’m going to answer the phone,” he said.

A perfect response to a fear-mongering attempt by Hillary. I love it.

    Greg from Pennsylvania:

Your ignorance will lead to your demise.

Many uninformed Americans like yourself love to bash Obama as a muslim. Before you try to scare people to believe that Obama is muslim, educate yourself on the 13 American presidents that were FREEMASONS! Ignorant folks like yourself are so afraid of Obama when the reality is that past presidents were members of the Freemasons, which is a CULTIC and MUSLIM link organization. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BUDDY!
