Archives to release Clinton's first lady schedules

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption=" The National Archives will release Hillary Clinton's schedules while first lady."]

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Over 11,000 pages of Hillary Clinton's schedule as first lady are set to be released to the public on Wednesday, the National Archives announced.

The documents are among those the Obama campaign has long said need to be made public in order to fully evaluate the New York senator's experience and tenure while First Lady.

In a statement Tuesday, the Archives said the documents are from the files of Patti Solis Doyle, the director of Clinton's scheduling while she was first lady, and later the manager of her presidential campaign. Doyle stepped down from managing the campaign earlier this year after a string of poor showings in primary contests.

“Arranged chronologically, these records document in detail the activities of the First Lady, including meetings, trips, speaking engagements and social activities for the eight years of the Clinton Administration,” the statement said.

The documents are among those that were the center of a legal battle between the Archives and Judicial Watch, a conservative public interest group that has long urged a speedier release of files from the Clinton White House years.

In a court motion earlier this month, the Archives promised to release the schedules by the end of the month, but said it will need "one to two years" to process remaining documents, including over 20,000 pages of call logs - an indication those documents won't be released by the November 4 presidential election.

According to the Archives statement, 4,746 of the schedules have redactions, information removed before being released, that largely relate to privacy concerns and include "social security numbers, telephone numbers, and home addresses."

The documents will be available for view on the Clinton Library's Web site.

Why is this not surprising. How long have the Clinton's been out of the white house? atleast 8 years right? That was plenty of time to get ssn, telephone numbers etc. off the records.

Releasing partial documents, laughable! But really, who cares. You all just run your campaign with dignity and move on with the election.

    GO OBAMA!!!

  3. What A Difference

When I thought Hillary was a decent person, no one could be prouder. But when she showed her true colors in NH, I along with my friends were shocked.

What a difference this presidential campaign has made in my opinion of so many people, Hillary and Geraldine's amazing.

Well, I'm not in the dark any longer and my vote will go to someone else. I won't say who, but I'm excited about the process.

Senator Obama does not condone the statements nor does he share the same thoughts as Rev. Wright. So why is it people are saying that I just looked at the video OF Rev. Wright and it's horrible and I'm not voting for Barack Obama. This is stupid…..wake up and realize that Senator Obama finds the video just as offensive as many of you HE DID NOT SAY THOSE THINGS AND HE WAS NOT IN THE VIDEO….DON"T LET YOUR OWN PREJUDICES GET IN THE WAY OF MOVING THE COUNTRY FORWARD

All I need to say to you and all readers –the Economy is the # 1 Issue and I am confident that Sen. Hilary, if successful, would be best to handle the present crisis.

If Hillary wins (steals) the nomination then we will have 4 more years of Bush fiscal policies. There is no way she will win against McCain, and I dont think our economy can take much more republican greed and corruption.

I am all for having a woman as President...just not Hillary Clinton. Please vote for who is best for our country! Do not pick a person because of their sex or skin color! Anything else is treason.

If you put aside your prejudice then the choice is clear.

If Hillary had not claimed she was "Co-President" during Bill's term, no one would have asked for supporting documentation. I am much more interested in seeing her 2006 tax return as she has made such an issue of holding back when every other candidate has released their's, I now feel there is something in that return that Hillary doesn't want voter's to see until after the election.

Why do people always rush to say something bad about our next president? They go out of thier way to do it. Whlie Obama lies about everything, they choose to ignore it, and crucify a very good lady
Idiots apparently can't remember that tax filing day is and has always been APRIL 15. And besides that, it's not anyones business but hers.

Enough already. From reading these comments almost all of you are either Clinton or Obama supporters and I am appalled at the level of anger/hate spewing from a lot of them. Keep it up and you might as well just hand the keys to the White House to John McCain.

FYI: A schedule means nothing as far as experience. It does not show any sort of actual involvement or attendance for that matter.

This is very thin as far as showing any hands on experience.

If you can't release papers from the white house years when Bill was in office, then you absolutely can't be trusted and there will be NO vote. How true to form, HRC statement today on Barack Obamas comments . . . ."I haven't read it. . . ."just like the little "inconsequential" incident of sending the US into an illegal war. . .she didn't "bother" to read that either !! No way, if you can't be bothered by reading the paperwork, then you're not entitled to sit in the office !

$2 Million in Unreported Campaign Contributions for Hollywood Gala Fundraiser

Judicial Watch Client Alleges Pardongate Role by Former DNC Chair Ed Rendell And Names Major Hollywood Stars Such As Brad Pitt and Barbra Streisand As Witnesses

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest law firm that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, filed a lawsuit yesterday in California state court against Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Hillary Clinton’s Senate campaign committees (among others) on behalf of a major Clinton and DNC donor, Peter Paul. Mr. Paul, an international businessman who has had a distinguished career in philanthropy and in production and marketing, gave approximately $2 million in direct, in-kind contributions last year for Hillary Clinton’s Senate campaign. Mr. Paul gave the money in support of the “Hollywood Tribute to Bill Clinton” held on August 12, 2000. The lawsuit seeks damages from the Clintons and others over the fraud scheme. Among the lawsuit’s allegations:

    * Mr. Paul paid the $2 million to the Clinton campaign as part of a $17 million offer to Bill Clinton to work with Mr. Paul’s companies after he left the Oval Office. This contribution was never reported to the Federal Election Commission, and Mrs. Clinton and her campaign lied to the media about the contributions and Mr. Paul’s funding of the gala tribute.

    * Mr. Paul discussed a potential presidential pardon for prior felony convictions in return for his political contributions with then DNC Chairman Ed Rendell.

    * The Clinton campaign knowingly allowed a foreign national to attend the “Hollywood Tribute” in exchange for a $27,000 contribution. This foreign national later attended the India State Dinner.

    * After telling The Washington Post that they did not and would not accept any contributions from Mr. Paul, Mrs. Clinton’s campaign finance director, David Rosen, demanded Mr. Paul make another (never reported) $55,000 contribution for a separate fundraiser for Mrs. Clinton to a third party – a pro-abortion group in Illinois.

    * Mr. and Mrs. Clinton made repeated calls to Mr. Paul to thank him for his financing of the Hollywood Tribute. Mr. Paul also had extensive discussions with Chelsea Clinton, Al Gore, and many aides and others to the Clintons regarding his funding of the Hollywood Tribute and his plans to work with Mr. Clinton after he left office.

    * Hollywood stars, such as Brad Pitt, Barbra Streisand, John Travolta, and Cher, are named as witnesses in the complaint.

Mr. Paul has documentary evidence of his close relationship with the Clintons, including checks, thank you notes from the Clintons themselves, and candid video and photographs. Mr. Paul, who faces indictment on alleged securities violations, is eager to cooperate with the U.S. Justice Department, so that all involved are brought to justice.

To anyone and everyone stating anything about Mr. Wright: Listen to Obama's speech. Listen to it all. Absorb it people. It is all about what we are and what we are not. It is all about the very things you stand there and complain about... well? WELL? Are you ready to make it better? Lets do it ...

    GO OBAMA !!!!!

The greatest uniter of our nation's history.

    YES WE CAN !!!!!!

I am not voting for Obama – he is did not do what he has promised. He is "going" to give us CHANGE!!! After the pastor's speech what we got is just lip-service. He is just like all them politicans ... he needs the black vote, therefore he cannot abandon the pastor.
To answer Dana Point – Separation of Church & Politics is only on paper. The early settlers came to American because they were prosecuted for their religion. Also these people were "criminals" – they "killed" and took most of the Indians who had helped them. So get over it ... there is no separation of Church & Politics.
I did not see Obama separate himself completely from the pastor ... so wake up!!!
