Archives to release Clinton's first lady schedules

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption=" The National Archives will release Hillary Clinton's schedules while first lady."]

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Over 11,000 pages of Hillary Clinton's schedule as first lady are set to be released to the public on Wednesday, the National Archives announced.

The documents are among those the Obama campaign has long said need to be made public in order to fully evaluate the New York senator's experience and tenure while First Lady.

In a statement Tuesday, the Archives said the documents are from the files of Patti Solis Doyle, the director of Clinton's scheduling while she was first lady, and later the manager of her presidential campaign. Doyle stepped down from managing the campaign earlier this year after a string of poor showings in primary contests.

“Arranged chronologically, these records document in detail the activities of the First Lady, including meetings, trips, speaking engagements and social activities for the eight years of the Clinton Administration,” the statement said.

The documents are among those that were the center of a legal battle between the Archives and Judicial Watch, a conservative public interest group that has long urged a speedier release of files from the Clinton White House years.

In a court motion earlier this month, the Archives promised to release the schedules by the end of the month, but said it will need "one to two years" to process remaining documents, including over 20,000 pages of call logs - an indication those documents won't be released by the November 4 presidential election.

According to the Archives statement, 4,746 of the schedules have redactions, information removed before being released, that largely relate to privacy concerns and include "social security numbers, telephone numbers, and home addresses."

The documents will be available for view on the Clinton Library's Web site.

Obama called his white grandmother a race commenter that made him cringe.
That disqualifies him to be on the top of the ticket.

So does this mean the Clinton documents that support old Hillary's claims of her Co-Presidency year's experiences will finally come for public review? Hey Hillary, what's up with the 4,746 schedules that have redactions and information removed from them before being released? While you are at it Hillary, How much longer before we get info on your earmarks? All should be interesting reading. This section was about Hillary Clinton's first lady schedules right? Why is CNN allowing comments about Rev. Wright here? Wake up CNN moderators; is it possible the Obama haters are putting you to sleep?

Hillary and Bill have long asked for the National Archives to speed up the process to have their papers released. It isn't really up to them how fast the people in the National Archives work.

  5. Wow, The Audacity Of Hate

I guess there is no pleasing you Obamatons, you won't be happy no matter what happens. God forbid you make a decision based upon something besides paranoia, hearsay, or unsubstantiated republican slander. Isn't there an Oliver Stone movie or something you conspiracy theorists should be at or something. Support Obama if you choose, but please at least pay Hillary the respect of hating her for something she has actually done instead of just mindlessly repeating rumors and half-truths that have no relevance to actual fact. There is far more regarding Hillary freely available in the public domain, than there is about Obama and yet she is the one hiding something? That argument, like most of what the Obamabots express here, makes absolutely no sense and is denied by all practical experience. Speaking of practical experience, why don’t you choose a candidate that actually has some, and vote for Hillary.

Bill, Hillary and their supporters keep on promoting and dividing democratic party into race and gender. Let's see how it is going to play in the general election....

Obamas wife put the frosting on the cake when she made the statement that she did not like this country until now, referring to the fact that the majority of white voters had made it possible for him to win the Wisconsin primaries. Evidently she agreed with Rev. Wrights hate whites message in their church. Obama must surely agrees with his wife and his minister are he would have found another church that taught love of country and all fellow men. THE TRUTH SEEMS TO POP OUT and people should be careful of who they vote for.

YEA, right that were people hide their important information in Tax return, most of you got to be kidding. Clintons do more for this country than anyone in all the campaigns. Support more causes for people than any other one running for president. Yea, Tax return may show how they care through charity, not a sign other candidate can claim this effort. Sad people think tax returns will show hiden agenda, we already see Obama hiden agenda.
Hillary will be the nominee, or DNC loses all crediablity.

Being First Lady is not an elected position. It is not a valid resume item. It certainly doesn't make her qualified to be president. The fact Hillary Clinton is a socialist is all the reason I need to know she is not the right choice.

Why as a country are we embracing political ideals (socialism) that our Founding Fathers ran from when this great country was founded?

Will they include meetings on her "schedule" that she sat in on when she shouldn't have been present? Or the times she made tea for her guests? C'mon...Hillary has NO experience!

As a white America-loving male, I don't see a single thing wrong with anything Rev. Wright said. Those sentiments are the product of a racial identity that is very real in this country. People on the outside may not understand, and we always fear that which we don't understand – but when you take away someone's dignity and try to replace it with a minimum wage job and subsidized slum housing, the result will be anger and resentment. To suppose anything else is just plain foolish.

Putting forth that anger and resentment to the exclusion of all else in the context of a Presidential election is indeed divisive and inflammatory, and that's why it's appropriate for Obama to officially distance himself from Rev. Wright's comments.

And OH MY GOD – look at all of SONA's "woman power" posts! Have you seen EVEN ONE "black power" post for Obama? Dear God, there'd be rioting in the streets!

I dare you to post this, CNN.

No to Hillary! She is about Hate and Divid! No to a woman that can't stand on her own and enables a man to womanize and belittle people. If she were really independent she would have left the cheating husband years ago! But no she needs him to have any chance in politics! What a sad pathetic woman!

And how many of Obama's tax returns have been released? (1)

I'm pretty sick with the DNC... they are going to beat each other down and do all of McCain's dirty work for him... America needs new leadership... not someone who claims to be new... but the real deal... and I don't know where we will find it!

I changed my mind. I cannot trust Obama any more. Hilary seems to be more honest. I am glad Obama true colors came to light before I voted. Geneder doesn't play any role in selecting my candidate. I am a white male and I am voting for Hilary.

Though she is a woman she is strong and a fighter and intelligent as well.

Wake up all Men!!! if we loose this chance we may not find another intelligent strong woman in the years to come for President!!!

We need change "That is a strong and Intelligent woman" in the white house. Keep the gender aside while you elect a candidate. We are not electing for ourselves. We need to think of the entire nation and what is good for America."

  22. Eqality and Liberty for All

Barack Obama is a clever politician. He stayed close to Rev. Wright all these years and found his faith because of him. Now that we have all the filth that this pastor has been talking about for years out in the open, Obama now denounces the speeches. Are the American people that stupid? If you are talking about judgement – a man is judged by the friends he keeps. Obama is polished, politically savy person who is not to be trusted. For all you Obama supporters – why has Obama waited to condemn Rev. Wright's filthy rhetoric until it was out in the open? Do you really trust the judgement of a man who is deeply embedded with a racist relegious organization? Can America afford to roll the dice on Obama esspecially after knowing all about his ties to Rev. Wright? Obama – Wrong for America.

John McCain is whiter then Hillary Clinton and the 'First Black' President.

And like Kerry, Edwards, and Al Gore, there is no way Obama will have anything to do with a Clinton administration.

This comment is for a different post, but it's closed.

Non-Obama supporters are hypocrites. Here's why: these people run off at the mouth about how they would never vote for Obama because of relations with Pastor Rev.Wright; yet, most of these same people are supporting Hillary, even though she is married to a man that lied in the White House for his affairs.

These same people act like they were Obama supporters from the start. None of you were his original supporter's; otherwise, you wouldn't let this foolishness change your mind. Stop trying to make it seem like you suddenly switched your support. You people are fake, and hateful.
