Chelsea Clinton dismisses Lewinsky question
(CNN) - Chelsea Clinton has fielded a lot of questions as she campaigns for her mother's presidential bid, but on Tuesday the former first daughter faced a particularly awkward query for the first time.
Campaigning at Butler University in Indianapolis, an audience member asked the 28 year-old whether the Monica Lewinsky scandal had damaged her mother's reputation.
"Wow, you're the first person actually that's ever asked me that question in the, I don't know maybe, 70 college campuses I've now been to, and I do not think that is any of your business," Clinton responded, appearing a bit surprised by the question. The crowd immediately cheered loudly at the response.
It was supposed to be the last question of the event, but Chelsea Clinton decided to take one more, saying, "I don't think that should be the last question."
Though she has faced the glare of public life since she was a girl, Chelsea Clinton has contended with renewed press coverage after taking on a more prominent role in her mother's campaign earlier this year.
The Monica Lewinsky scandal made a brief return to the news last week, when newly-released White House schedules indicated Hillary Clinton was likely in the White House during at least 6 reported instances of encounters between her husband and the former White House intern.

Doing it better than her mother...
Chelsea, I know it hurts you to talk about your dad Bill Clinton a former President of this United States of American has done a very bad thing when he stepped out on your mom Hillary.
His actions will go down as one of the worst in U.S. history of what he did in the Oval office. He has betrayed the trust of the American people who put him into office. I am sorry but your parents have not lived the kind of life that warrants them a second chance in the White House.
He has degraded all women and you in general by doing so, and I even voted for him.

I'm going to disagree – it is in fact that individual's "business." Ms. Clinton chose to run for political office, arguably the most high profile office in the world, I think the public gets to decide what is their "business" in this case.

Those of us who support Senator Clinton would of still supported Obama if he was to be the nominee. However, with all the recent relevations and the trash tactics of the Obamas toward Senator Clinton and her family has erased any possibility of gaining our support.

Good for her, if Obama did not want the fact that he has attended a church with a racist agenda for 20 years then he should have left that Church a long time ago. I myself would have left in 2002 after Mr. Wright made his comment about 9/11, I would have left the Church over that even if I was not at Church that day and heard about it later. tough question, but she's an adult taking a very active role in a high profile campaign. she shouldn't have been caught off-guard. she missed a real opportunity to address this in a thoughtful manner. she will learn. i can't imagine the feelings she has from that episode in her young life.

The Monica related question is a valid one! It is about maturity, decency and respect for the office. Bill has shown us that he doesn't care. Why should Billary be better, now that Bill will have even more time.
