Clinton: How about a bowl-off for the nomination?

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/04/01/art.clinton0401.ap.jpg caption="Clinton’s bowling solution was incredibly creative. And an April Fool’s joke."] (CNN) - Hillary Clinton challenged Barack Obama to a primary season bowl-off Tuesday, with the winner to top the party’s ticket this fall.

“And when this game is over the American people will know they’ll have a president who’s ready to bowl on day one. We don’t have a moment to spare because it’s already April Fools Day,” she told reporters at a Pennsylvania press conference.

The New York senator that added it was time for the Obama campaign “to get out of the gutter. For all the pins to be counted…” and said she would spot him two frames.

Clinton may have been joking – but in a winner-take-all bowl-off, she might have the edge. This Saturday in Altoona, Pennsylvania Obama came in a distant third in a three-way bowling game, finishing with an underwhelming score of 37 over seven frames.

“I was terrible,” the Illinois senator told the crowd at the bowling alley, according to the Associated Press. "My economic plan is better than my bowling.”

Responded one unimpressed bystander: "It has to be."

To all you blogers who say if your favorite candidate doesn't win the nomination, you will vote for a candidate in the other party, it remindes me an old saying about cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Obama should win according to all the current information( with the exception of Fox who wouldn't know the truth if it were stenciled on their
    stooge moderator's heads.)
If the nomination is stolen, don't vote for McCain! Form a third party and wipe the other two out. Believe me this is the first time in our history a third party could actually win!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the only way she could win, get read though she will make some excuses of why she lost, blaming it on anybody but her. Bill can vouch for her though......she probably hasnt had any balls in her hand in years!

    Wow!!!!!

The next couple of months could provide us with a lot of comedy. Whatever I might think of this candidate, she is definitely funny.

If only she were honest and trust worthy, and a non-Clinton.

Go Obama, take the challenge. I am sure you can beat her even at bowling.

I'm an Obama supporter, but that is pretty funny. That was a good April Fool's day suggestion by the Senator from New York. I can just see both Senators training for the bowl-off with their supporters throwing nasty suggestions regarding about the way the candidates are bowling around.

Do you want the nomination now though the other candidate has a 140 deligate lead ?
Do you still think you can get atleast one deligate lead by convention to seek nomination ?
Will you accept the nomination even if you are trailing in deligate count by convention ? Can you stoop that leve too ?

    I have one question:
Like where's Hillary Clinton's your income tax that she promised to release. Obama already showed his taxes. Now it's her turn. Bowling is just a way to side-track to get away from the real issues.

With his socialist agenda, his economic plan is only better by one or two pins!

America is starting to see the 'real Obama'. Hang in there Hillary! Our family does not want a president who is as 'star struck' and negative as Obama. We leaned for him at first, but not now. Go Clinton.

Wow, those are some very lame bowling metaphors, and a pretty lame way to be funny.

I'd rather see them go one on one on the basketball court myself.
