Clinton: How about a bowl-off for the nomination?

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/04/01/art.clinton0401.ap.jpg caption="Clinton’s bowling solution was incredibly creative. And an April Fool’s joke."] (CNN) - Hillary Clinton challenged Barack Obama to a primary season bowl-off Tuesday, with the winner to top the party’s ticket this fall.

“And when this game is over the American people will know they’ll have a president who’s ready to bowl on day one. We don’t have a moment to spare because it’s already April Fools Day,” she told reporters at a Pennsylvania press conference.

The New York senator that added it was time for the Obama campaign “to get out of the gutter. For all the pins to be counted…” and said she would spot him two frames.

Clinton may have been joking – but in a winner-take-all bowl-off, she might have the edge. This Saturday in Altoona, Pennsylvania Obama came in a distant third in a three-way bowling game, finishing with an underwhelming score of 37 over seven frames.

“I was terrible,” the Illinois senator told the crowd at the bowling alley, according to the Associated Press. "My economic plan is better than my bowling.”

Responded one unimpressed bystander: "It has to be."

BREAKINGS NEWS: In Hillary's speech today, Hillary likens herself to ROCKY. Theme song and all.

How appropriate. ROCKY was an imaginary character that lost to Apollo Creed., came back and won imaginary fights in ROCKY II, ROCKY III AND ROCKY IV. By the time ROCKY V and VI came around, Rocky was broke. By the time this nomination process is complete, Hillary will look like PAULIE in the ROCKY movies.

OH PLEEAZE!! Hillary Clinton is ALL TALK and NO ACTION. She knows full dern well that if she was in a serious bowloff with Senator Obama she would be creamed. I mean all she would need to do is try to throw the heavy bowling ball and the bowling ball would take her into the gutter with it, where she's used to being anyway, if she didn't croak before getting there.

She needs to quit with the jokes. Bottom line how can she manage a whole country's budget when she can't even manage her campaign budget?

They'll have to bowl twice. Once in Michigan and once in FL just to make those states feel included in the process.

Here is a clear difference between Obama and Hillary:

Obama plays Bowling, which is an action.

Hillary politicize Obama's play, which is not an action.

    You decide.

I hope and pray that Pennsylvania sees Hillary for what she is.
Ohio, are you sorry, yet. She fools people into believing that she
is not a master manipulator. Her and Bill should get some "scruples"
and earn their way to respect by working along side of the admired
Jimmy and Roselyn Carter for about 10 years instead of having another
stint in the White House pullng the wool over Voters eyes.

Since some DEMS are trying to push Hillary out and make room for their empty suit darling Obama, hopefully she pulls a Leiberman and runs Independent. Wouldn't that piss off all the Obama supporters!! Let's face it, with polls suggesting 30%+ of Hillary Clinton supporters threatening to vote McCain if Obama gets the nomination, she's got a good shot. Luckily McCain is moderate and likeable to a lot of Democrats. The Democratic party is so divided right now, neither DEM has a chance.

Perhaps her bowling experience makes her more experienced and electable in November!!!

Or maybe it's because she dodged sniper fire in Bosnia....

  16. Bowl off

Hey Hillary, are you SURE you want to go up against Obama in a bowl-off? You DO know what "bowl-off" means, right? It has nothing to do with smoking pot. It's obvious from your campaign that while Bill may never have inhaled, you and your team have never exhaled.

LOL... She made a funny 🙂
Considering the challenge she just offered, she knows it's the only way she's gonna win... but at least she has a sense of humor about it.
At this point, unless she has a real ace up her sleeve, it's in the bag.

Where are all of these rabid Obama fans coming from? Why don't you look into the mirror of projection and claim some of your own mean spiritedness instead of projecting it onto Clinton. You need someone to hate on the one hand; and someone to project your Messiah adoration on the other. Wake up and look in the mirror.

I find it strange that such hate can be posted on this blog for an April Fools Day joke. You Hillary-haters should take some time to reflect on your lives, because clearly something isn't right with you.

Go!!!!!!!!!! Hillary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 08-16 YES!!!!!

As they get close to the final frames with Obama ahead, Hillary would move the goal posts again and claim victory on the basis of gutter balls. Then, like her not paying her own campaign's healthcare premiums, she’d stiff Obama with the tab.
