Clinton: How about a bowl-off for the nomination?

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/04/01/art.clinton0401.ap.jpg caption="Clinton’s bowling solution was incredibly creative. And an April Fool’s joke."] (CNN) - Hillary Clinton challenged Barack Obama to a primary season bowl-off Tuesday, with the winner to top the party’s ticket this fall.

“And when this game is over the American people will know they’ll have a president who’s ready to bowl on day one. We don’t have a moment to spare because it’s already April Fools Day,” she told reporters at a Pennsylvania press conference.

The New York senator that added it was time for the Obama campaign “to get out of the gutter. For all the pins to be counted…” and said she would spot him two frames.

Clinton may have been joking – but in a winner-take-all bowl-off, she might have the edge. This Saturday in Altoona, Pennsylvania Obama came in a distant third in a three-way bowling game, finishing with an underwhelming score of 37 over seven frames.

“I was terrible,” the Illinois senator told the crowd at the bowling alley, according to the Associated Press. "My economic plan is better than my bowling.”

Responded one unimpressed bystander: "It has to be."

This race has shown people's true colors. Seems there are a few objective people that post comments but quiet a few whose heads are clouded.

People need to look and think with their minds and not just because you like someone as one of the commentors said – don't vote for McCain just because your nominee does not win cause the only people that are going to suffer are you the voter, you will be the one complaining when there is no change when things remain the same, when you lose your house, when the gas prices are so high that you don't have enough money to fill your car up, when your son/daughter who had to go to a war that should not be does not return home as they have now become a statisitc of a war that McCain said he wants to last for 100 years.

Be smart think about the choices you have available and make a wise decision not one based on anger or hate.

Obama supporters are naive! He smooth talks them and spins their heads around and they don't even realize he's lieing to them! Your invisible to him! He didn't stick around in Mississippi to thank his voters and he's not going to thank you sincerely! He's the I gotta eat and run kinda guy!
What a joke! He'll do anything for a vote. The very same people he put down repeatedly before the crowds while giving speeches saying that they are the only voters Hillary can attract- the uneducated, lunch box democrats! (Well, news for you, they aren't so uneducated! ) are the very same people he tried to fit in with chugging a beer and bowling with, pathetically I might add, as if to tell them he's just your down-to-earth ordinary guy! Yeah right! He may as well have had a violin in his hands rather than a bowling ball. He may as well spat in their faces, told them he thought he was too elite for them, but he'd take their vote anyway.
Mr. Teflon is going to have his day in court and lose big just like the other teflon don!
    By an educated voter!

This is actually an interesting idea, even though I know it was a joke. Wouldn't it be weird if they did have a "bowl-off"? Not for the actually nomination, but as a cross party fundraiser for the Democratic party. It would be an interesting way to illustrate that we are indeed one party, and it would raise a lot of money for the general election candidates.

    Just a thought.

So he can't bowl...So what???...There's lots of other things he can do that Clinton can't...Tell the truth for one...Motivate people who have never voted before, play a mean game of basketball?...This is a really stupid thing for her to bring up and since she has no sense of humor whatsoever, she deserves the stupid comments left on this site.

I have a great game we all have been playing for the last year "The Obama Card Game". You don't have to do anything but you can still become a Presidential Candidate as long as you play with the right people! This Nomination cleary belongs to Hillary and she has earned it. They have over 20 years of taxes filed by Hillary and people are crying about what again? Crying is a past time for folks like Obama but the time has come for the cry of Wolf to stop! Mr. Obama step aside and let a real American Woman take her rightfull place as President of the United States of America and stop crying Wolf like a little kid who needs attention!
