Ventura is back

CNN

Watch Jesse Ventura on CNN's Larry King Live Tuesday night.

(CNN) - Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura is back and angrier than ever at both political parties.

"I never vote Democrat or Republican," the former wrestler said on CNN's Larry King Live Tuesday night. "I will pick someone else, a libertarian on the ballot. Someone else. I will not vote for a republican or democrat. I don't do it every election - I wish they would allow none of the above on the ballot."

On his own political future, Ventura said he is not planning on running for president because of the difficulty third party candidates have in securing ballot access.

"Am I going to run? Too difficult," he said. "Because they make an independent like me jump through 50 different hoops because every state has different things you have to do to qualify to get on the ballot."

The male ego never ceases to amaze – some people are limelight junkies. I have absolutely no interest in hearing what this "has-been" has to say.

I'm sorry, why do we care about Jesse Ventura?

Governor Ventura was a joke, played on the people of Minnesota by the youngsters who had to also pay the price (maybe by now they have matured). Ventura's statement supports just why we SHOULD have parties, and our elected officials should come through those parties. That way we have some idea what they stand for before they are elected.

This is the type of leader the people of Minnesota elected. Now they want us to trust them on Obama. Heaven help us all.

OK – he's entertaining to watch and he definitely has an opinion about nearly everything. But I care what he thinks why?
I do think he makes a valid point about the problems 3rd Party (or 4th Party or 5th Party) candidates have getting on the ballot. When it comes to President, it needs to be standardized nationally and it shouldn't be an impossible task. But Jesse Ventura is not someone I would vote for.
Of course, I didn't think anyone would vote for a washed-up B-movie actor but I was proven wrong abut that.....

Ahh lighten up everybody. You would have tuned in for the debates!!!!

I would have loved to see him dressed as The Body standing next to old McCain. That would have been priceless.

    Derrick,

Your comments slamming Obama are moronic at best. Obama is hands down better prepared to lead than McCain on every issue you just mentioned.

Why can't people who leave their comments spell? Why don't they know basic grammar and syntax? I thought the Obama people were supposed to be the smart ones. They are supposed to be educated and young and superior, right? I am very disillusioned, and now I feel that their candidate may also be less than he is tauted to be.
