Obama: I'd take a vow of silence if I could

"] LAFAYETTE, Indiana (CNN) - Democrat Barack Obama told an Indiana audience Thursday afternoon that he doesn't like hearing the sound of his own voice as much as some people might think.
After first mentioning that there was a time when presidential rival Hillary Clinton was "really hammering away" at him by saying he was more of a talker than a doer, the Illinois senator said, "She's not doing it as much now. I guess because it wasn't working."
But, said Obama, it's "not just because I like hearing myself talk."
"I promise you, after 15 months (on the trail so far) I would be happy to take a vow of silence and not say a word. I'd be happy just to sit in an office somewhere and solve all kinds of problems without ever having to give a speech."

Guess what Obama? We'd like it if you took that vow of silenece NOW! We are also sick of hearing you. Why don't you just gracefully step down, and let the real work begin with Hillary defeating McCain and take back the White House?
How about taking the middle ground– stop shouting platitudes about change at us and quietly tell us in specific terms what your positions are on all the issues and how you intend to achieve your desired results?
Oh great if Obama gets elected he is going to isolate himself in an office and solve all our problems. Well, many voters would like to see the first half of that plan -
A vow of silence? We love your speeches... and we know you don't like to hear yourself talk. You are not in this as a 'beauty' contest. You believe in change otherwise you would have caved in to the #2 spot when the party elders had Hillary coronated at the beginning.

Maybe Hillary could take you out for a night on the town with the $800,000.00 her and bill got from Columbia to speak on behalf of free trade. Now because she is running for president she is telling(lied to) Ohio and Pa she is against free trade. Oh my God you have got be kidding.
At least when he does speak, it is with honesty and purpose, something Clinton does not how how to do. Her answer to serious questions is "How many angels sit on the head of a pin" followed with derisive laughter. I hope she keeps on talking until she cannot remember which lie she told and to whom!

How about you talk about Hillary stating that she will pull out of Iraq even if the military doesn't advice her to do so because it's a civilian decision! She told the NYT this today!

You finally chaired your subcommittee after more than a year, which (as she pointed) was the only real responsibility with which you had ever been charged. But she's right: all you do is talk, and these comments of yours embody that fact.

Seeing that you have already won the democratic convention, won the most states, the most delegates, the popular vote, all the young folks, the mamas and grandmamas, and 90% of you know whom – why don't you just take a vacation until August, save your money, save your voice so that you can hit John with all your usual speeches (by that time most of the people would have forgotten them and they'll appear fresh again!)
