Obama: I'd take a vow of silence if I could

"] LAFAYETTE, Indiana (CNN) - Democrat Barack Obama told an Indiana audience Thursday afternoon that he doesn't like hearing the sound of his own voice as much as some people might think.
After first mentioning that there was a time when presidential rival Hillary Clinton was "really hammering away" at him by saying he was more of a talker than a doer, the Illinois senator said, "She's not doing it as much now. I guess because it wasn't working."
But, said Obama, it's "not just because I like hearing myself talk."
"I promise you, after 15 months (on the trail so far) I would be happy to take a vow of silence and not say a word. I'd be happy just to sit in an office somewhere and solve all kinds of problems without ever having to give a speech."

He is definantly showing that he can't stand through this campaign and every week another skeleton pops out of his closet. Can we expect to have a new president to just get in the office, kick up their feet, and do nothing? We have a number of issues that can't wait for someone to learn how to be President. Obama should stay in the Senate for a bit longer before playing in the big leagues.
The people of PA really need to know just who donated money to the Clinton campaign. I wonder if people who are for NAFTA donated money and also if Marc Rich donated money to Hillary's campaign. Remember him, the guy who received a pardon from Bill, after his wife gave the Clinton's millions of dollars. I'm telling you people, Hillary is going to get a big pay day if you let her Universal Health Care go through. The people in Germany are crying right now because they have the same Universal Health Care Plan that Hillary wants. They received a mandate and they never knew how much iit would cost them. Now they are crying and there is nothing they can do about it. At least Obama is for the same thing, but he knows it will not be easy and at least we will know how much we have to pay into the medical plan. It gives us the choice, not make us pay for something we cannot afford. Wake up America.

ok, for all the dumb people in here, he is being metaphorical by never wanting to speak again. if you had to speak every day for a year with little to no rest, you'd wanna take a break, whether the break is a weekend or w/e. secondly, war is exactly not wat America needs right now (so Mccain is out of the question i guarentee you that many of mccain votes will be based on the fact that he is a white male, not a black man or a woman.)
