Obama: I'd take a vow of silence if I could

"] LAFAYETTE, Indiana (CNN) - Democrat Barack Obama told an Indiana audience Thursday afternoon that he doesn't like hearing the sound of his own voice as much as some people might think.
After first mentioning that there was a time when presidential rival Hillary Clinton was "really hammering away" at him by saying he was more of a talker than a doer, the Illinois senator said, "She's not doing it as much now. I guess because it wasn't working."
But, said Obama, it's "not just because I like hearing myself talk."
"I promise you, after 15 months (on the trail so far) I would be happy to take a vow of silence and not say a word. I'd be happy just to sit in an office somewhere and solve all kinds of problems without ever having to give a speech."

I think it will be sheer poetry to have Obama in the White House on the 150th anniversary of the Civil War and Emancipation Proclamation. I think his message that it is "we the people" who must revive and energize democracy with our full civic engagement and not one politician or another is much more important than the details of his policies–which, like any politician's, are subject to what happens on the floor of Congress as well as the compromises that are part of policy making. I believe Obama is the way of the future; that his populist ideology, his character and integrity and wisdom will make him an outstanding national and global leader. That he will inspire us to take back our government and our country from special interests. And I think those two little girls in the White House alone will cause a paradigm shift in American identity that restores our hope and our faith in ourselves and our country. I have not felt this way about a candidate since Bobby Kennedy when i was 15 in 1968 And if he loses–I think we will have lost a remarkable opportunity that may not arise again at the time when we seem to need it most.
For the environments sake, please do take that vow of silence. We already have global warming and your hot air is only adding to it.............

People should be the same when they campaign and when they are in office. Maybe he talks a lot about change or other stuff now but when he gets elected he will do nothing. Same as other politicians.
In additon, he is so arrogant. He thoughts people love hearing his speech. Not me. I can stomach his voice. I change chanel whenever I see his talking. He also fools people who have not experienced life and people who think good things come easy without having to work.

She says she didn't support NAFTA, doesn't believe in the Colombian trade agreement, Penn gets caught brokering a deal, Hillary ACTS DECISIVILEY and Penn resigns, BUT Penn works daily on her campaign. Bill says he supports Colombian trade agreementst; Hillary just dismisses it and says oh that's just Bill's opinion. Then we learn Bill just got paid $800,000 for "JUST WORDS". I'm kind of thinking the only ones who acted DECISIVELY here were the Colombians. They actually fired Penn when they learned he could not guarantee them the deal or the Clinton package.
America we need to pay attention here while we can still say MADE IN THE USA!
