Clinton laughs off Colombia questions

Watch Clinton laugh off a question on Colombia.

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania (CNN) - Hillary Clinton used her trademark laugh Thursday to deflect a question about the $800,000 her husband earned in 2005 giving speeches for a Bogota-based group that supports the Colombia free trade agreement - the same trade deal she currently opposes.

Asked by CNN if those earnings represented a conflict of interest given that she has dipped into her family's pocketbook to pay campaign bills, Clinton threw up her hands and laughed loudly for several seconds.

"How many angels dance on the head of the pin?," she responded, continuing to giggle. "I have really, uh, nothing to ... I mean, how do you answer that?"

The New York senator explained there are different sides to the argument over trade, and re-emphasized her own opposition to the trade deal, assailing the Colombian government's "outrageous" record of "targeting labor leaders."

"I am against the Colombia free trade deal," she said. "It doesn't matter who talks to me. It doesn't matter any circumstances. I have been against it. I am against it. I will be against it absent the kind of changes in behavior that I have been calling for from the Colombian government."

Earlier in the press conference, describing her husband's advocacy for the trade deal, Clinton said: "Everyone is free to express their opinion."

And her particular opinion gets her the most votes......I find it hard to believe she is sincere about anything anymore. She has lied one too many times for me to believe anything she says. It's kind of sad.

I bet she does laugh off this question because she and her campaign is lying to our faces. She is not a leader and I am sadden that the Democratic party leadership is allowing the Clintons to have a public childish fit because she has lost this nomination fair and square. They now are trying to take the entire party down with them. She will not win in 4 years from now or ever because she is a bad leader and people know that.

Yea right Billary. The sniper fire lie was a big laugh too. Is there no end to this sleazy fakes' moxy. I guess it's a real hoot that Slick Willy collected 800k to lobby a deal you say you oppose. That coin must have kept you and your prima dona kid living in style for awhile. When you laugh with that diabolical snort it makes me want to puke all over the table. Get the hell out of the contest. You do not have the trust of the American people-you're a liar and a skank of the lowest level. The people have tuned you out and no longer consider you a credible candidate. But you must have been terrified when you found out dear sweet Chelsea was so close to the Trade Center on 9/11. Yet another shameless inveracious statement uttered from your big yap!!

If you beleave anything that comes out of her mouth. Her husban took $800,000 dollars for them and $32 million for donation to what ever we will never know. And Mark Penn took money from them to. She help implement NAFATA no us and it tore this country up. Of coarse she is distancing her self from it. She knows she dont have a chance if she dont. But her Husband still backs it. Because he is bought and paid for and so is she

The Hillary supporters may well have a viable point. We need a strong politician in the White House. Knowing well that in general American politicians are self-serving crooks, Hillary may be the best choice considering her 35 years of experience lying, cheating and scheming to achieve her own self-seriving interests and ambition.

You answer it, "Yes, my husband and I have funnelled illegal funds into my campaign." ...not by giggling like a silly school girl Hillary.

Bought and paid for. There is no more obvious conflict of interest than your own family being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to support a position that you claim to oppose in order to pander for votes. That impropriety has nothing to do with having one's own "opinion." Send a message, Pennsylvania, the American people are sick of being lied to and stolen from.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been waiting for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes – Hillary – stop laughing – a lot of Americans are out of jobs and to think that Bill Clinton and you are spending $800,000 for some thing that you opposed is too much! Plus – let's not forget the $300,000 Mark Penn was paid! Let's see – that's a lot of money! Will you reject the cash and Bill? After all – you can get rid of your spouse! It would take most Americans earning $50,000 a year to work 8-years or more to earn that kind of money!

Answer a tough question, Hillary. Just once. It'll really, really go a long way toward restoring your credibility.

I have it hand it to her. She is one of the biggest liars and B.S. spreaders I have ever heard of. You keep saying that Obama needs to answer questions. how about you answering questions? How about your daughter answering questions? You can not say that you support your husband, but are against NAFTA. The great Hillary, wants to have her cake and eat it too. Always talking out of both sides of her mouth.
You know what Bill does, you knew what Penn was doing. Buy the way, why does he still work for you? Will you answer that one? Your la te da ways are coming back to bite you in the butt. Looser, thats what you really are. Every body but you and a few of your blind slaves can see that. Just get out of the race, Better yet, Go over to G.B and kiss sir Eltons big butt. You belong together.

Once again I must agree with the Hillary supporters, she SHOULD stay in the primary race until the end and by all means include Florida and Michigan! Every citizen deserves the right to spit in her lying face by voting to end her presidential bid.

Is that what her so-called experience has taught her? At least the phrase "that question is none of your business" would have been more consistent with her campaign.

Perhaps, while she is dodging sniper fire and saving a dying pregnant woman denied hospital treatment, she should return the $800,000 just to "come clean." After all, it won't make a dent in the $109 million .Or are the private loans she gave herself really to pay Bill to speak on HER behalf and cast HIS superdelegate vote for her???

End the Bush AND Clinton dynasty . . .

    Obama or McCain '08

Laugh? It's not a laughing matter. That was a serious question. How do you account for the fact that Bill Clinton was paid $800K and you claim to be against the Columbia trade agreement. Words Senator Clinton, words. Fact is we just don't believe you anymore.
