Clinton takes a shot . . . of whiskey

Sen. Clinton enjoyed a shot of whiskey Saturday night in Indiana. (Photo Credit: AP)

CROWN POINT, Indiana – After a day of taking shots at rival Sen. Barack Obama over his "bitter" remarks, Sen. Hillary Clinton relaxed in Crown Point, Indiana and took a shot of a different kind – Crown Royal whiskey.

Clinton was at Bronko’s Restaurant having a beer when the bartender asked, “You want a shot with that Hillary?” After some deliberation, Clinton settled on a shot of Crown Royal, a Canadian whiskey.

Later in the evening, the Democratic presidential hopeful also sat down and had some pizza.

This is a very calm picture – you should have seen the pictures on www:huffingtonpost.com earlier – she was really chuming it.

I think that this woman would do anything to win (lye, cheat and steal). Anything to achieve her objective "QUEEN HILLARY"

Hillary is anything you want he to be for any givin moment. The Clintons have 109,000,000.00 plus received 500,000,000.00 for the Clinton Library (from the Chinese and Columbians) whos the elitist? She tauts a story of her father teaching her to shoot, I wonder if her father also taught her to dodge sniper fire! Her lies are amazing.

Hmmmm! Was that Hillary I saw in Vietnam when I was there? I think it was near the Cambodian border, where she single handedly took out a crack NVA division. She lied though because she was not by herself. She had Rambo with her. Or was it Rocky? She has a hard time remembering the details cause she is 60 years old and tired. How will she answer the phone at 3 AM, after a night of Canadian Royal?

All of the people taking stabs at the fact that it was a Canadian whiskey should take a look in their closet. Do you have ANY AMERICAN clothes in there? How about your SHOES? How about your APPLIANCES? If they weren't MADE IN AMERICA then SHUTUP!

I will no longer be duped by any of her charades. Trying to be all things to all people is false.
Her credibility is totally shot, in part because of sniper fire.

This is how people get screwed up. You elect officials and they go get comfortable with lobbyists while laughing all the way to the bank..

It is amazing how no matter what Senator Clinton does it somehow is wrong in the eyes of the Obama supporters and most of the time the press. You know, you have to admire Senator Clinton for her fighting spirit and the her drive to make this country better despite the constant attacks on her as a person. I want Senator Clinton to be in the White House, because no matter what, she will keep on fighting for what she believes in, the American people.

I wonder how Hillary's boozing is going to play in the bible belt. It may make her look like one of the (formerly) working stiffs, except that the (formerly) working stiffs are drinking because they're bitter about seeing their jobs moved over seas. Hillary is drinking because she is extremely wealthy thanks to deals her husband made that cost the stiffs their jobs in the first place.

    Dear Barack,

I have never been so excited about politics in my life, and I want to thank you for that. For once I feel America has a chance to make a difference in D.C. We are tired of the lies, and pandering, we want real change.

God bless you in your efforts and hold your head high, we are with you.

A patriotic American who isn't duped by the side shows.

Now were nit picking trying to create news. Most people with any intelligents know what Senater Obama was referring to. There are folks that turn to religion and guns when they lose there jobs and feel insecure. He was focusing on a certain group not people in general. Hillary should be drinking a lot, for she will need a whole bottle of whiskey before this is over.

    We love you Hillary!!!

It's time to wrap up the nomination and send Obama back to Chicago!

Here's a toast to Hillary our next President!

Let's say Hillary nabs the nomination – by hook or crook. The #1 question republicans will be asking is where has Bill been placing his "private parts" over the course of the last seven years? I doubt Hillary can answer that question honestly or definitively, but you can be guaranteed the republican machine already has the scoop on him – and the nation will hear about any and all "indiscretions" come October – that will be the "bitter truth" for democrats in '08. Bill couldn't control himself while occupying the Oval Office nor has Bill been able to control himself on the campaign trail. Does anyone believe he has really been able to control his "personal behavior" since leaving the White House??? The american people will not opt to go back to that soap opera. The campaign in the fall (if Hillary is the nominee) will not be about issues and/or ideas - it will be about Bill – it always has been about Bill and it always will be about Bill.

Holy bird lipping batman! If that is what Hilary calls taking a shot we are in trouble. I am sorry but I want a President who knows how to properly handle a drink. Think I am kidding? FDR was a great president and one of his hobbies during WWII was to actually bartend for friends at the White House. He had one rule, that no one talked about the War or politics. He had a good time and it helped keep his close advisor's heads on straight. For you history buff's out there FDR's specialty was making a Vodka Martini actually mixed with a bit of Absinthe.

I hope she will have the whole time in the world TO DRINK after she loses PA, NC,INDIANA.. and the NOMINATION! She will never ever be elected for public office... She knows that..
Hey CNN, it's time for you to stop backing a LIAR and start listening the majority of Americans.. Obama speaks on our behalf. not MILLIONARES like Clintons... It's time for you to go to those ‘small towns' and see that Barack is telling the truth! Get out of your offices, guys, forget about your huge salaries and look at the real world !!

As a Gun owning, White, Religious, Resident of a small town. I forgive Obama for this minor verbal gaffe. I wish CNN was not playing Hillary's sleazy game at manufacturing a contrived controversy just before the PA primary. This is the exact same game that Hillary pulled just before the Ohio vote. Hillary is truly the master of manipulation and CNN is her lap dog. Bottom line is, only Obama is not tainted by the crooked Lobby groups that have run this country for the last twenty years of Bush / Clinton. Only Obama is not profiting from the war in Iraq and is truly committed to bringing our heroic troops home.

She shot innocent ducks as a child, now she takes whiskey shots as an adult. She looks silly and how appropriate given she's instigated this silly season of politics.

This woman lies, tries to cover up NAFTA-gate and laughs off significant issues. She has proven herself unelectable time and time again whereas Sen. Obama has proven himself a born leader. I want a President who hears the voice of the American people and acts upon that, Not a hypocritical wannabe like Hillary who is so desperate she drinks whiskey to try and prove a point. She's lost it.

So? Is this the best news we can find? Hillary had a drink. I had one last night. What's the big deal? It just proves she is a real person, and like a lot of us who have a drink from time to time. I don't see that as having anything whatsoever to do with her character, or her ability to govern.

I'm amazed & glad she wants to be the president, I wouldn't want to represent some of you hypocritical fools, you'll criticize anything she does. Dear God, there are some people who actually want to contribute and do something positive for this world & some of you can't stand it because it makes you see what you don't do. Have another shot Hillary, any liquor you want, Thank you and God bless you for all you have contributed to this world.
Sincerely a "typical white person" who knows "bitter people who cling to guns & religion", but aren't bitter enough to listen to hatemongering preachers!!

. .Is Hillary the type of person anyone wants for president? She lies
with such a straight face. This is disrespect to the American people.
You would have to have a low IQ to fall for anything she says. No wonder
more educated voters are for Senator Obama. One would have to be dishonest like her to vote for her.
