Clinton takes a shot . . . of whiskey

Sen. Clinton enjoyed a shot of whiskey Saturday night in Indiana. (Photo Credit: AP)

CROWN POINT, Indiana – After a day of taking shots at rival Sen. Barack Obama over his "bitter" remarks, Sen. Hillary Clinton relaxed in Crown Point, Indiana and took a shot of a different kind – Crown Royal whiskey.

Clinton was at Bronko’s Restaurant having a beer when the bartender asked, “You want a shot with that Hillary?” After some deliberation, Clinton settled on a shot of Crown Royal, a Canadian whiskey.

Later in the evening, the Democratic presidential hopeful also sat down and had some pizza.

Poor folks, soory to say that Hillary does not dring "beer." Can you afford Canadian whisky and a few more doolars to add to the $109 million? The rich wil get richer and the poor poorer, as along as we continue to as: "is that not the carpenter's son"?

Hillary is a hound dog, and she'll do anything to win.

Sorry Hillary, it won't work. You are a liar and a cheat, and you will NEVER be my president.

At one time I thought you were great, thanks for opening my eyes during your sleazy campaign fiasco.

OBAMA TAX PLAN – ADD 30% TO YOUR CURRENT TAXES YOU PAY, and add 10% to Corporate taxes.

MCCAIN TAX PLAN – REDUCE TAXES THAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY PAYING and reduce taxes Corporations that hire people like you and me.

Answer to question, which change you can believe in – McCain 2008!!!

Hillary Clinton is taking this a little too far as far as I am concerned. She thinks Obama is out of touch????? What about all her lies??? Did she think the people are out of touch to think they would believe her??? And Bill Clinton standing there blatantly out and out lying about her Bosnia trip??? Is he out of touch with reality???? Do you think???? I bet if Hillary Clinton had said those words, nothing would have happened. I am so sick of the Clinton's using the genda card. What in heavens name is she going to do if she is elected? Does she think that this country or other countries are not going to put her down and hard? Get a life!!! If you can't handle the media and the people of the United States saying you are wrong, then get out of the race. You should have thought about that before you applied for the job!!!! Stop using the genda card, it is soooo old

Where is Jon Lovitz when you need him. The Pathological Liar is at it again.

Ya, I can drink – I can drink with the best of them. And I know guns too. That's right, I'm a hunter, a duck hunter. And I knew a woman who didn't have a hundred dollars for an operation. And she died. She died in Bosnia. That's right, in Bosnia. She was shot by a sniper. The same sniper that almost got me. That's right, the sniper that winged me in the arm. Ya, shot me in the left arm and almost took my head off, but I ducked. Ya, that's the ticket, I ducked. Just like I ducked out of having to fire Mr. Penn.

My goodness, where will it end?

You know, it amazes me that every time Sen. Obama speaks to or about the American People like adults, the hysterical campaigns of Sens Clinton and McCain get apoplectic. Sen. Obama's "Bitter" remark is nothing more than scientific fact. When people (and I mean all people) feel as thought they have lost control over their lives, either with the looming threat of foreclosure or loss of job or not being able to keep up the medical insurance to cover their families, they look for ways to regain some level of the control they feel they've lost . Owning a gun gives the owner of that gun the feeling that he or she at least has a bit of control when it comes to protecting that which is his whether it be loved ones or property. It's a fact. And the other reaction to loss of control to a government that won't listen to the people is to seek comfort and often times that comes in the form of religion or faith. Another fact. Don't confuse an adult conversation about the nature of human beings with the hysterical and desperate claims of two candidates who see their only chance of winning this election slipping away every day.

LOL, how can you possibly be an elitist next to 109 million dollar baby, Hillary? How can you possibly be an elitist next to beer millionaire McCain. I think not.

Barack is no more an elitist than I am, and I make 109 million dollars less than the Clintons.

    Obama 08 YES WE CAN!

Bottomline: Hillary is the ONLY candidate that can do what needs to get done. McCain is TOO old and more of the same; Obama DOES NOT have the experience...he needed to wait another 4 to 8 years to run for President. Mrs. Obama is scary...her remarks are also questionable. Look..it's a political year and all candidates are going to say stupid things. Me? I want each of them to be detailed on how they are going to set the wonderful country on the right course to get back the prestige, economy and progressive attitude we had before the fiasco named BUSH.

Clinton is trying to be one of the good old boys drinking whiskey and touting her gun experience (which I doubt) to somehow show that she's not an elitist ($109 million). I hope that Pennsylvania, Indiana and North Carolina can see through this ruse.

Obama-bots are elitist, spoiled brats who don't have real jobs, but are paid by the Obama campaign to spend every day blogging about how they despise Hillary. This is the campaign in a nutshell. The reason there are so many pro-Obama posts here is because Hillary supporters have to work for a living. They aren't spoiled brats, like Obama, who got a full scholarship to Princeton and Harvard through Affirmative Action, but still don't understand Americans and are not proud of it. Great...this is what we're getting for 4 years?

looks as if the averageUS Americans have a major problem: they prefer lies to the truth, anytime. They sound better while truth can be ugly. What they have not learn yet: truth is like water: it always rises to its own level. Looks the Clintons and the Bushers understand the average American soul better than Obama does. They dont like education and intelligence either. It makes them feel inferior. So, at the end of the day, you have what you deserve and will get what you deserve: someone who looks down on you and rips you off at the same time...the way it is done in Banana republics around the world. Well, every nation has the government it deserves...

If you've ever tasted Crown Royal before, you'll know why she's drinking it over another type; it's pretty much the best kind you can get.

This is so rich reading I cannot get enough of it. Democrats against Democrats! I love it keep it going.

The odd thing is both Hillary and Obama are liers and will say anything for a vote.

do any of you believe that either one of them would drink beer or whiskey at their home? only when its a photo opp they step up to a bar and say shots all around lol.

You Democrats are about to hand this election over to McCain and for that we thank you all.

My God! And if she was reported and pictured drinking vodka they would be accusing her of being a communist! Give it a rest people. So what?
So Hillary likes Crown Royal. And it was offered in kindness. Remember that word? Kindness? Something our mothers taught us?
Some people out there writing in seem of forgotten that word exists.

Because Hillary is a LIAR she has a problem with the truth.
Come folks prove to me how many people are happy because the are loosing their homes. People are bitter and angry because america is not yhe same and Hillary and her people dont care.
Look at how much money this woman and her family makes compared to an average american and people trust her.

Like a lot of these political snipets, I don't think this is very newsworthy.

Although I would like to point out something to "me and the millions," which is that you keep saying you're being blamed for the actions of your elected officials. You live in a democracy where you elect people into office to make decisions on behalf of you. You and the rest of the people in your state put those people into office and you have to accept the actions they take. If you don't like the actions they are taking then fire them. You're complaining about something you brought on yourselves.

Do we really want this, making decisions that effect the entire planet-
    in the White House?
Better someone who tells the cold, hard truth to the Nation than someone who misrepresents facts, spins the truth, says one thing and means another, and then goes out with her cronies and drinks Beers and Slammers?
Think before you vote. Think carefully.
PS- Hillary, despite what you say- we are bitter here in Indiana.
