New Clinton ad: Obama is 'out of touch'

Watch Sen. Clinton's new ad, "Pennsylvania."

(CNN) - Hillary Clinton’s campaign released a tough new ad Monday that features the reactions of some of her Pennsylvania supporters who say they were “insulted” by Barack Obama’s controversial recent comments about some small-town Americans.

The 30-second spot – which echoes several days of similar criticism from Clinton and her campaign - features a diverse group of voters reacting to Obama’s comments a week ago that some of the state’s residents were “bitter” and turning to guns and religion because of economic pressures.

Full script follows:

Woman 1: I was very insulted by Barack Obama.

Man 1: It just shows how out of touch Barack Obama is.

Woman 2: I'm not clinging to my faith out of frustration and bitterness. I find that my faith is very uplifting.

Man 2: The good people of Pennsylvania deserve a lot better than what Barack Obama said.

Woman 1: Hillary does understand the citizens of Pennsylvania better.

Woman 3: Hillary Clinton has been fighting for people like us her whole life.

Hillary Clinton is doing her best to being down the Demorcratic party in the general election in November. If she wins, we lose! The tactics of destroying Barack Obama will not only give McCain more fuel to go after him, but is getting the Obama supports more angry every day with her attacks on him. It is one thing to want to win but it is another to make him look ugly and yourself in doing so. With the importance of the '08 election being at an all time high it is hard to believe that this country would vote for a war monger that admits that he knows very little about economics but if we can elect Mr. 28% a second time then John McCain is a possibility. What does McCain stand for besides war? Did McCain learn how to lie from Bush?

Yes, Hillary has been fighting for us all and will keep fighting.

Does ANYone doubt her commitment and conviction to provide health care to ALL Americans? Not even those who claim she lies, can possibly doubt it.

She is a true blue trooper.

    religion religion religion.

always religion. Logic and reason are hard. Religion is wonderful!

You can't insult my nonsensical beliefs about my magical sky-friend and wonderful afterlife (unless you don't believe what I believe, then you are doomed). how DARE you.

Get over it. Enlightenment is here. Religion has no business being a topic of any kind in a national debate.

The sad part is that the media plays these over and over and seem to salivate at the circus.

SHAME on Obama for the critical & rude remark to the people of Pennsylvania. America will not forget this. We do not need a president who slams the people.

Once thought about Obama, but NOT NOW.

    Now for Hillary Clinton.

    Hillary 08........Keep Going Hillary

What I want to know is why did Obama make this comment in private in the liberalist area of the country (SF) to a bunch of millionaires. Besides being caught that he said this, that was his biggest mistake. No one would be ranting if he came out and directly said it to the people he was talking about. It makes the folks in those rural areas feel like poor charity cases and that is what is making folks angry. It also looks like Obama has one personality for the elites and another for the ordinary folks. Then when he tried to explain it, he could not connect, he has difficulty clarifying what he really means. He has done this numerous times. None of the Obama supporters are angry when Hillary is called names with reference to her thighs, butt, hair, bags under her eyes, using her daughter, not being able to control her husband, making too much money. You light up when there is an incident like sniper fire or Mark Penn. Let Barak show the country how he can withstand these gaffes. Let's see if he has the hutzpah that Hillary has.

I'm from western Pennsylvania and Barack Obama has spoken the truth. We have become bitter about government. You only have to look at the low voter turn out, and the apathy in places like western Pennsylvania, and throughout the rust belt to know that this is a fact. Obama knows Pennsylvanians more than we would like to admit. He has worked on the streets on Chicago to organize churches to help those who were left jobless. He understands our bitterness all to well, and he is the only candidate honest enough to speak about it, or to care about it.

I'm for Philly, an I've encountered plenty of frustrated midddle age white people in Derry county and New Cumberland County. I wolu not call them bitter, but frustrated yes. I understand were that remark comes from, and there are people who'll use that frustration to cause division and further there personal agenda, ala, Russ Limbo!

Ya know, it is absolutely unbelievable how bad "people" got it in for Obama.. to the point "they" would actually stooped this low to clearly distort his words. Everybody knows that he clearly meant: "When people are hurt, angry "bitter", unhopeful we attach ourselves closer to that which gives us comfort and relief." Just as one would if they felt their world was coming to an end, what then is natural that one would do? Attach themselves to their love ones, religion, and for some; express themselves in a negative manner such committing suicide, criminal acts etc. Not to mention, his response was to defend out frustrations against the "Washington Superiors" This is America, so lets not act like we are the "Lilly of the Valleys" as if we're perfect. Shame on us! We know better than to distort such a statement. We know this to be even true in our very own lives...C'mon!!!

I think Barrack Obama is trying to express that we all need to see the truth for what it is and we need to stop hiding behind the miss perception of these political figures who will tell you that everything around you is a positive way of today America life. If we don't face the truth white, black, yellow, brown, or any other stereo type that continues to keep the division, we will be face with a new nation where people from third world countries who has advance due to NAFTA will take our place. Rich and Poor will then be the new stereo typing. Wake UP Americans!!!

Hillary is desperate to use this non issue in a political campaign.

This was a real misspeak unlike being under sniper fire.

Let's remember, her support of lousy free trade deals and her vote of the Iraq war. What Obama said about being bitter is totally insignificant compared to the mistakes she made.

This is such a non issue and the voters in the upcoming primaries should treat it as such.

Hillary is no fighter, she's a liar and a thief! $109 million qualifies you as an elitist. Being hateful and vengeful against Obama makes you out of touch! Obama will bring this country together, Hillary Clinton will tear it apart. Please don't vote for the evil queen next week. Stand up for American values and vote for Barack.
