Clinton sees influx of campaign cash

Clinton has seen an influx in campaign cash since winning the Pennsylvania primary.

Clinton has seen an influx in campaign cash since winning the Pennsylvania primary.

NEW YORK (CNN) - Sen. Hillary Clinton's Pennsylvania victory seems to be helping her regain ground financially against rival Barack Obama, who has outraised her by tens of millions of dollars.

The day that followed Clinton's Pennsylvania win was the biggest day in the history of her campaign, according to Terry McAuliffe, her campaign chairman.

The New York senator raised $10 million through the Internet and had 80,000 new donors, he said.

Compare that to two months ago, when Clinton could not afford to pay staffers and even lent her campaign $5 million from her own pocket.

Uh-huh. All that 10 ml did was buy out the debt that she had accumulated. It's as if she has zero dollars in her account at this point. Is this how she intends to run the Federal Government? Spend more than they take in? I think we have that now.
We need change. I'm a 50 year old college educated white Texan for Obama.

Great so that means her donors helped her pay her $10 million debt. Now, she needs more donors to compete. Where are her lunch bucket workers???

There you go again. Clinton is lying about her cash and we all know she is in serious dept. Obama will always double what she raises, and I just donated the third time in this moth to his campaign.

I bet she has. Since she doesn't have to prove it, and we all know she's a habitual liar, I don't believe this for a second.

I find this funny, Obama has 6 times the amount of money she has. I expect this tide to last 2-3days and then back to the money trickle for the queen. Again, every month since Iowa, she can only muster about 10-20 million(all rich, lobby people, WAL-MART, PAC) what I mean here is that the queen's money does not come from the average american, unlike Obama who has the support of MOST americans. All of my 35 years of life I have watched people in washington promise this and promise that. and nothing ever changes. I AM READY TO THROW OFF SUCH GUARDS, all of them. To bad most americans are "fat and happy" to atleast try to change washington. Do you really feel that this goverement will help you in that time of need? No way, this govereremnt is about how to RULE OVER PEOPLE vice GOVERENING the people.

I think it is time people: It is our duty to THROW OF SUCH GUARDS!! This system is broke and outdated.

now, if she would only work on the fact that she's a conservative, I wouldn't vote nader, should she steal the nomination.

Send her more money, girls! She's got to bribe the superdelegates with something!

  11. Obama is a GODSEND

Obama will still raise more, plus he has much more in reserves already.

He has already started his TV campaign in NC, Oregan and Indiana.

He knows how to manage $$$$$$$$$$$$$

As someone in statistics and probability, and an active supporter of Hillary, I have come to conclude that Hillary simply cannot get this nomination. Her chances decrease after each major vote, including PA. Therefore, I can no longer waste my vote or money on Hillary. I care more about the party than the individual. To vote for Hillary is to vote for a major "split" in the democractic party. My conscience will not allow me do so!!!

Overall, I also concluded that "folks" in small towns and states are "smarter and more educated" than folks in the BIG states!! Hillary is from NY–

NY, PA, FL, CA etc. (except TX), continue to amaze us! Just look at the "wisdom" of the smaller states– Indianna, NC, Iowa etc.– . Left to them, this madness would have been over with before now!!

Here is a candidate that can not only beat Obama, but who can also beat McCain.

Obama, with all of his "blind" followers, and out spending Hillary by a 3 to 1 margin, still CANNOT beat her. What does that tell everyone, that she is the one person that has the talent, skills, knowledge and experience to become our next President.

More and more people are seeing Obama for what he is, the "Pied Piper" leading so many "blind" people, that CANNOT take out Hillary Clinton!

More and more new donors will come to the aid of Hillary, to make sure that she is the nominee of the Democrat party, and that she will go on to beat McCain in November!

Thanks go out to all of the people that believe in Hillary Clinton, and want her to win this fight!

Go, Hillary, GO !! All this new cash should help you take your campaign all the way to the convention floor. We are counting on you... don't let us down!

Stop being a deadbeat and pay your bills!!! For all of Hillary's voiced concerns about blue collar workers and small businesses, the longer she continues to not pay hr vendors, the worse it gets for them and their staff.

Pay attention to what Hillary does as much as what she says!!!

  18. End is coming

    Too late,
Obama needs less than 300 delegates to secure the nomination now.
    Hard luck
You can try again in 2016. Obama will help you then as he did in your senate election. However, I will never do...

The Obamabots need to stop hating on Hillary. That why I will vote for mccain before I vote for that loser.

    I love the Clinton's

  20. Educated Voter = Not Hillary

In step with the rest of her campaign, this is a lie. $125 each on average for "new-time donors"? Hillarious Clinton has done it again, ladies and gentleman...it's hard to believe anything that comes out of her mouth these days–she could "misspeak" at any moment.

most of the money was spent on or before Iowa.

Who has managed their campaign better?

and how can anyone verify that she raised 10mm

    vendors get your cash upfront

It's OK I guess for thousands of people to contribute $5-10-20-50

to Obama, and most of those people are on food stamps and welfare,

so therefore I guess the Hillary supporters are basically paying

for Obama with our tax dollars.

I'm sure CNN will Never post this one.

  24. no bandwagon

    Hillary is the best.

I hope it is not too late to undo the damage done by the DNC and the democratic party to their own best candidate.

Obama was raised up like a God and Hillary was throttled.

Still the people did not buy the hype.

We will vote for the VERY best one possible. That was and is Hillary Clinton.

    Should have played fair.
