(CNN) - President Bush was quick to endorse John McCain when the Arizona senator wrapped up his bid for the Republican presidential nomination.
But another Bush might not be so sure.
Speaking with CNN's Larry King Wednesday night, Jenna Bush said she hasn't decided yet who she will vote for in November.
"I don't know," Jenna Bush, daughter of President and Mrs. Bush, said when asked if she will back McCain.
"Of course [I am open]. I mean, who isn't open to learning about the candidates and I'm sure that everybody's like that," she added.
Though the younger Bush conceded she has "been too busy with books to really pay that much attention."
Meanwhile, mother Laura Bush was quick to affirm that she will be voting for the Republican candidate in the fall.
The two appeared on the show to discuss Jenna Bush's upcoming wedding next month.
"[It will be] outdoors, very small wedding, you 'know, very small, all relatives, our families, really, kind of big," Jenna Bush said. “So it's half-family and then half very close friends."
Go Jenna! Someone in the family has brains!!!
Who cares what the daughter of the worst president in US history thinks about anything?
==Hillary voted Yes to the Iraq War. In my view she's always a Loser=
Sounds like a closet Obama supporter to me!!! LOL
She should endorse him
At least we have one Bush member with brains.
And this is news, why...?
Jenna is 'secretly' backing Sen. Obama.
Maybe even a contribution or two 🙂
The Smart young ones knows a true Leader!
The old one is stuck in the past with the same 'old' mentality now we payin $4 for gas n milk whats next? Lines for toilet tissue and bread?
That is the Greatest thing about America, Freedom of choice and privacy of voting.
Again, how is this news? Who Jenna Bush is going to vote for could matter less to me.
Maybe she is waiting to endorse Obama.
I for one could not care less what any Bush thinks! Jenna Bush should just close her mouth around that Silver spoon, that she has been sucking on since birth.
Though the younger Bush conceded she has "been too busy with books to really pay that much attention."
MILLIONS of students nationwide are more active than ever before in politics. Registering in record numbers in the Biggest election in decades.
Here we have yet another BUSH too busy to pay attention. It HAS to be in the Genes.
Who cares?
Once you go black....
Well, that explains it.!!! The Bush family has been busy with the WEDDING and that is why our country is in such a ppor state. Weddings are DEFINITELY more important than whether this country "goes to ruin". I am so glad they set this straight.
Who care.......we even don't need you or your families support anyway.
Bushy families is not good at all.
She is so cute! She sounds like she is down to earth person and does not have a snobbish personality.
Ok, Jenna, after all McCain has done to back your Dad – thanks a bunch for your great Bush loyalty! Boo!
Well, at least one Bush is showing some good sense and something other than tunnel vision!
This really is a non-story but CNN must fill their pages.
Still, McCain must be thanking his lucky stars. The way the War, the Economy and the Housing market are doing do you really want anyone with the last name Bush supporting you?
Anyway, if she carries is half as dumb as her father she probably would never make a rally... ...she'd get lost.
She knows she supports Obama. She clearly see what has happened to the US under the Bush Administration.
It's refreshing to see that Jenna's an independent thinker, rather than just a carbon copy of her parents' choices. She's probably gotten a lot of flak from friends and put in the position of 'defending' her daddy's wars since many of the troops are her own age.
We wish her luck in her upcoming nuptials.
who cares? what a dingbat....
She's been too busy with books?! Sigh. Seriously – how can you be the First Daughter and have absolutely no clue about a major, historic presidential election?
