Major Clinton fundraiser switches to Obama

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/04/25/art.hillary.ap.jpg caption="Clinton lost a big fundraiser to Obama."](CNN) - A “Hillraiser” – a major fundraiser for Hillary Clinton – said Friday he had defected to Barack Obama’s campaign. The official announcement will be made next week.

Gabriel Guerra-Mondragon – who served as ambassador to Chile during the Clinton administration – had raised close to half a million dollars for Clinton’s campaign, reports Chuck Todd, who broke the story.

"We're just bleeding each other out," Guerra-Mondragon told the Washington Post. "Looking at it as coldly as I can, I just don't see how Senator Clinton can overcome Senator Obama with delegates and popular votes. I want this fight to be over, the quicker the better."

He added that leaving the Clinton campaign for Obama's "was a very, very difficult decision for me to make. I am an old and longtime friend of Senator Clinton. And I continue to think she is a fantastic and formidable person. But I am first of all a Democrat."

Just as all of us get to cast our votes make our decisions for our own personal reasons so does Hillary's fundraiser. All of this nonsense is killing the party. I think some of these Super delegates should be ashamed of themselves. They know who they are leaning toward...you cannot tell me they are still confused who has a better change to beat McCain. If they are confused, why do we need them? The American people know who they are voting for, why do the Super delegates get to act like CEO's pretending to listen to the people. They need to come forth and offer support to whichever candidate so that the Democratic party does not become a laughing stock. And one more thing, I love all these Super's saying that this back and forth doesn't hurt the party. If Obama gets the nomination, Hillary supporters will be staying home. Same goes for a Hillary nomination. For a party that couldn't lose in November, we look sure to. I guess we can all pacify our frustration by watching McCain age for the next four years.

Someone actually has a brain and used it for the better of the democratic party. Be prepared to have someone take the dagger out of your back that Hilliary and Bill will give you; along with the verbal plumage of Judas slurs..

There was a report on Yahoo news that the Clinton camp did NOT correctly report their debt totals. They failed to add the $5 million to the $10.00 DEBT total.

I'm not sure anymore what her exact debt is, but I know for a fact from my neice that it's a BIG problem, their in serious financial debt and the money raised in PA does even come close to wiping her debts if you add her April debts too.

    Wow... that's scary.

We all know Hillary would now be our nominee... but for the race card playing and the primary fixing by the DNC.

She is slightly behind ... which is doing REAL good, given all the handicaps thrown in her way.

Big mistake. You must be blind if you can't see how Clinton can't win the popular vote. There's not way in hell I will vote for Obama, so you just made a big mistake.

This is the first election I vote for who I believe will be good for others. That's right I don't need anything either candidate is selling. This time it's not about me. It's good to be independent in this democratic republic.
