Superdelegate deluge

(CNN) - The superdelegate deluge continued Wednesday afternoon with the announcement of two new endorsements.

Luisette Cabanas, an unpledged superdelegate from Puerto Rico, is backing Hillary Clinton. California Rep. Lois Capps is supporting Barack Obama. (Capps is the mother-in-law of Obama Press Secretary Bill Burton.)

So far, the Clinton campaign has released the names of four new superdelegate supporters in the last 24 hours, and the Obama campaign has named five.

The Superdelegates needed to see Obama emphatically denounce Rev. Wrights egotistical diatribe and they saw that Tues. Obama is now able to get back on message and a lot of the apprehension has been lifted.

It's interesting also that major economists are slamming the McCain – Clinton plan for gas price relief, and siding with Obama, which according to polls is the #1 issue.

Don't be mad. Just because Obama lost a state primary does not mean that the smart super delegates in that State cannot vote for Obama.
And Obama's Reverend Wright deal can't hold a candle to Whitewater, the FBI files, Vince Foster, Jessica Flowers, Juanita Broderick, the pardon scandals and Hillary's brother's role in them. Or to baking cookies, the Rose Law Firm, Webb Hubble, sitting on the board of Wal-Mart, voting for NAFTA and forsaking people in Indiana, ducking sniper fire and taking contributions from Norman Shoo and the Chinese communists.

It saddens me that the superdelegates are sitting waiting for the democrats to self destruct. Why not say who you support, it will not stop the rest of the voting and at least start some sense of closure for this sorry spectale that has gotten hold of the demorcrat party. Some leaders keep saying this is good for the party, I say to them, NO IT IS NOT GOOD when you have family infighting. It takes more than 2 months to soother over hurt and resentment and I mainly blame Clinton and the spineless supers or others who supposedly have the best interest of the party at heart.
OBAMA played by the rules, and will win the nomination. Hillary has changed the rules everyday since she started to lose. What does that tell you about how she will govern. Her behavior and her supporters' behavior are typical of people in power who will do anything to hold onto that power. I voted for her In New York but I hope she decides not to run agian in NY when she finally accepts the fact that she is not going to be the Democratic nominee because I think she has lost the respect of most reasonable people.
When will someone in the media ask her to talk about her stands on race relations and why is it that the majority of her "blue color"/bigot votes is carrying her. The people plainly states that they will not vote for a black person. When will you have dialogue with her about that issue.
She is not a fighter, she is angry, frustrated and . She is just not the right woman to be president.

Are they purposefully doing this in such a calculated and methodical way as to off set each other so the balance remains the same....are they trying purposefully to make us all stark raving mad....is it intentional?

Obama is not mature enough, complex enough, experienced enough, tested enough, or been around the block enough to run the USA. Hillary is. End of discussion.

  15. Young Voter

It's time for the Super-delegates to decide what they want to do and the choice is clear...

    1. Create a new generation of Republican Activists by disregarding the outcome of the ELECTIONS and supporting Hillary and therefore destroying the connection Obama has made to the next generation.

    2. Create a loyal following of young Democrats by supporting the will of the people and putting their support behind Obama.

I'd say it's a pretty distinct and obvious choice to make.

New opinion dynamics poll released today has Obama's negatives as high as they have ever been. Denouncement didn't work. Hillary pulling ahead. Looks like the electorate and the superdelegates just can't get on the same page.

Wow....can Sen. Clinton even count? I mean she can't managed her campaign funds so that's pretty obvious, she's NOT good with numbers. She consistently counts Florida and Michigan which are NOT hers to count because she signed a written agreement IN WRITING!! What does that say about her credibility? Even in writing she still lies about the whole agreement. NOW she's counting her super delegates. Wow.... I guess with the Clinton camp 2-+ 2 really does = 5 to them!!

I'd seriously HATE to have her balance my check book let alone, this country's budget. Are you KKKKKKKKrazy!!

    She's scary..... ooooooooh...

Obama is no longer electable. He has streotypes about people's values and faith. He received mentoring from Rev Wright for 20 years...

The next President is getting the support of those who truly love and value our nation and that individual is Hillary.

    Hillary 08!

  23. Average American - MD

I am Senator Clinton supporter until Bill Clinton makes his racist remark. I personally hate liars and dishonest people. Senator Clinton has showed her characteristic to the people of this great nation repeatedly about her lies. Most American will agree with me that we teach our children and ourselves to say the true and be honest. If that were the case, why it that some people (Hillary supporters) are supporting someone that repeatedly lies. This election is just like a marriage/relationship. We want our spouse to be honest and truthful.

Moreover, how will you feel if your spouse who does the house budget did not pay the bills on time and he/she spending it on something else? I voted for a candidate that is honest and knows how to run his campaign well. It is a reflection on how we live our daily life. Yes, We Can vs. Yes She Will. Senator Clinton slogan is about her been selfish and Senator Obama slogan is about everybody. There are many sexist remarks coming from Senator Clinton’s supporters. There is a difference between a fighter and a bully.

On the other hand, Senator Clinton supporters and Senator Obama supporters can we agree to the same rules that the Republican Party uses and then split the remaining delegates 50-50 in both Florida and Michigan. The Republican Party did just that in both States. Do not blame Howard Dean or Senator Obama. By the way, NO one is perfect. Yes We Can 08.
