Clinton up with new ad starring Easley

Easley stars in a new campaign ad for Clinton.

Easley stars in a new campaign ad for Clinton.

(CNN) - Hillary Clinton's campaign launched a new ad in North Carolina Thursday that features the state's governor, Mike Easley.

Easley, who endorsed Clinton earlier this week, says the New York senator is "so resilient, so determined."

"These are tough times in America and I think that Hillary is the one we can count on to get the job done," Easley also says in the 30-second spot, titled "Determined."

The ad comes five days before the state's May 6 primary. Barack Obama is considered the favorite, though recent polls suggest Clinton is gaining support.

Gov. Easley: These are tough times in America and I think that Hillary is the one we can count on to get the job done.

She's going to turn the economy around, she's going bring new jobs, she's going to get some tax cuts for the middle class for a change.

She's going to make health care available to everybody in this country, and she's going to do everything she can to help every child reach their full potential.

She is so resilient, so determined.

She knows how to deliver.

She'll be a great president.

Hillary Clinton: I'm Hillary Clinton and I approved this message.

Good for Hillary. All you people out there crying about the gas tax, you should look at it this way
2 canidates AT LEASE WANT SOME ACTION the other just wants to
Talk about it and Plan to handle the problem SOME time in the Future.
Also if the gas tax savings isn't a big deal to your pocket book, then
Write a Check to the Treasury to add your share to the Federal Tax budget.. put up or Shut Up!

Must the media run ALL of Clinton's ads for free?

When was the last time CNN posted a full video of an Obama ad?

Gov. Easley is as corrupt as they come, such as campaign fraud and health-care funding scandal. No wonder he likes the Clintons! Just Google his name!

    Don't fool yourself Billibots!

The only reason Hillary is still in it is because she is in last place. If she was in the lead, or had won the nomination, you would be hearing all about her and Bills lies and dirty laundry!

Their lies on Bosnia, NAFTA, and Columbia are just the beginning!

No wonder Easley likes the Clintons.

Easley just committed political suicide. The Clinton's must really have some dirt on him for him to endorse Hillary. Barack is going to win here by at least 15 points.

The dems needed to get their act together about a month ago. Unfortunately the time is past and they will reap what they have sowed. Clinton has made Obama unable to be elected in the general election via dirty politics, a Clinton speciality. If Hillary manages to somehow cut a back room deal via her husband, Slick Willy, she will get hammered. Most Americans feel she cannot be trusted.

Interesting fact. The longer the contest has gone on and Obama has gone against her, he has cut every lead she has had. With the switch of super delegate Joe Andrew, a Bill Clinton appointee, he lead in super delegates has shrunk to just 9. She once had a lead of over 200. This should tell people something.

The Republicans don't offer up much more, as has been the case for the past 8 years.

A plague on both your houses.

I live in NC This man is a hoax we are in tormoil with the Mental Health issues. This man agreed upon the new services and it was a lost of 54mil dollars now he acts like he didn't know what happen now he is getting ready to end his term and acts like it never happened. He is in and under investigation for hiding email from the Division of Health and Human Services. No on here in NC is happy with what he has done for NC He has been nothing but trouble here.

Another question, Why is CNN not covering the Issue about Hillary vs Paul. The judge set it off until the election. If she is found guilty she will be impeached under a felon of fraud.

I think people don't fear the Clintons any more, that is why everyone seems to be jumping ship.

I'm just glad that the superdelegates aren't falling for this media created claptrap against Obama. Oh it is not because they like Hillary better, they don't, the media just wants an easy Jerry Springer like story without having to do journalism.

Hope you're proud of yourself CNN, pathetic.

Im still in shock that Caroline Kennedy appeared with Mrs. Obama to respond to the the Rev. Wright issue!
Guess she doesnt mind anyone making fun of how her father spoke!
She must not have that "typical" yo mama, yo daddy syndrome

    Number of Delegates:
    Indiana: 72
    North Carolina 115

Don't be fooled. North Carolina is the big prize, not Indiana. If Hillary can't 'close the deal' and win North Carolina, then this race is over – despite what the media and the Clinton campaign portrays.

I am just amazed how tons and tons of people are blinded by Mr. Obama's charisma, so much so that they do not question the senator's judgment regarding his personal affiliations (Wright, Rezko, Ayers). Lack of judgment in your personal life does not fare well regarding judgment in your professional life. Maybe Sen. Clinton lacks the charm that makes people loose their sensibilities, but she is by far the more capable candidate. Also, people cringe at the idea of Bush/Clinton/Clinton/Bush/Bush.....but please keep in mind Sen. Clinton was/is a Rodham first!

Rev. Wright case proved that we can not trust Obama. It also shows he has very poor judgement as he claims he didn't know about rev.'s this face after knowning him for sucha long period of time. I am not white or african-american. I am asian-american so the issue about race doesn't effect me much, it just tells me Obama doesn't have the right personality to be in whilte house. after NAFTA phone call and Mr. wright, – can't trust this guy anymore. So,
Pls Mr. Obama get out of the race and stop dreaming about white house, if you think you can run the white house than ME TOO....

  17. Time to move on

it is the media that keeps giving Hillary false hope when she knows the race is absolutely over. But to me the media is just trying to play games to extend the race.
No looser in Dem Hillary join OBAMA'S TEAM TO WIN TOGETHER IN NOV.

Sad that it took this strong female candidate winning the largest states in the union and hanging on and not being counted out... to finally wake people up to the reality of what this country needs to move ahead.

Obama and the bots thought he could simply skate into the Oval office without answering real questions and having his life scrutinized.

  20. Milwaukee for Obama

I am an Obama supporter and I dont see anything wrong with that. She is still fighting for the nomination and she has to do what she has to do. Why is it news? CNN has become so cheap, I only watch Larry King Live. I used to watch 360 too but they are so corny. They actually made me choose Obama over Clinton even though I would still vote for Clinton if she got the nomination legally and rightfully

  21. tired of the Billary "fight"

Being a fighter is not the same as not knowing when to quit. the current resident bush is a fighter.. he continues down a path that is doomed to failure kicking and screaming and tearing the country down all around him as he goes... reminds me of Billary in the democratic primary she has lost but being a fighter she would rather destroy everyone around her than go down with dignity.. you see that is the difference between a "fighter" and a "warrior" a fighter would rather destroy everything than admit defeat a warrior knows that sometimes you lose and honor requires you not to destroy for no reason. A warrior has honor a fighter has nothing but the fight.. Billary is a fighter.. Senator Obama is a warrior. I choose the warrior.

OBAMA 08 lets restore dignity for a change!

During the interview, Bill O’Reilly pays Hillary the ULTIMATE INSULT by telling her to her face that she is JUST LIKE HIM.

Hillary has experience when it come to making BAD JUDGMENT

    Voted with Bush on Iraq
Voted with Bush on Iran last year. Hillary didn’t learn her lesson!

    Her campaign was horribly planned.
