Clinton in new ad: I'm a 'fighter'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/05/03/art.turn.youtube.jpg caption="The Clinton campaign launched its first advertisement in Oregon."]
(CNN)—Hillary Clinton’s campaign launched its first television advertisement in Oregon Friday, casting herself as a “fighter,” who will meet the nation’s challenges.

“Oregon knows that with bold ideas there’s no challenge we can’t meet,” Clinton tells viewers.

In the 30 second spot called “Turn,” Clinton highlights her plans for transforming the environment, providing affordable health coverage and her mission to bring troops home from Iraq.

“It’s going to take a fighter to meet these challenges,” she says. “If you give me the chance together, we’ll turn our country around.”

The state of Oregon holds its primary May 20 via mail-in ballots. There are 52 delegates at stake.

Hillary is a fighter! Who else could have stood up to the whining, condescending, attacks from the Obama folks. Phoney videos, phoney stories, race card guilt, sexism, big money, big lobbyists, media adoration, and a cult following.

If she survives all that, McCain, the conservatives and Bush left over attitudes will be running scared. Great!

    Go Hillary. Don't give up!

The only whiner in this race is Clinton...in case you forgot how Bill and Hillary complained about the debate, how she was ducking sniper fire in Bosnia, how she refuses to listen to experts about the gas tax, how she did not read the resolution to use force in Iraq.

Fight for good and not to destory. That is why judgement is of paramount importance in this election. The only challenge against Obama is charater and he cannot defend that but the democratic establishment that tend to side with the Clintons.

So far, the numbers that do not lie project Obama as the nominee and I think the Democrats would understand that to avoid a total failure. Stay focus Obama!

    God Bless America

In her new ad Hillary says she has bold ideas... she has plans for this country... she said it's going to take a fighter to meet this country's challenges...

The only candidate that I have seen bloodied and bruised and coming back stronger is Obama... and he didn't even say "you should see the other guy (gal)"

He is the essence of a leader who will fight for us – the American people!

  24. Fighting for the Middle east to go Nuclear

Hillary on Iran, "We can totally obliterate them."

    Regional Responses:
"A less restrained reaction came from an editorial in the Saudi-based paper Arab News. Being neighbors of Iran, the Saudis and the other Gulf Arabs have the most to fear from Iran's nuclear program and its drive to become the dominant power in the Gulf.

But precisely because they are most at risk from Iran's regional ambitions, the Saudis want a carefully considered American approach to Iran, one that balances firmness and diplomatic engagement."

And type of talk, more warmongering, will keep Iran and the whole region from going nuclear? Think again.
