Clinton in new ad: I'm a 'fighter'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/05/03/art.turn.youtube.jpg caption="The Clinton campaign launched its first advertisement in Oregon."]
(CNN)—Hillary Clinton’s campaign launched its first television advertisement in Oregon Friday, casting herself as a “fighter,” who will meet the nation’s challenges.

“Oregon knows that with bold ideas there’s no challenge we can’t meet,” Clinton tells viewers.

In the 30 second spot called “Turn,” Clinton highlights her plans for transforming the environment, providing affordable health coverage and her mission to bring troops home from Iraq.

“It’s going to take a fighter to meet these challenges,” she says. “If you give me the chance together, we’ll turn our country around.”

The state of Oregon holds its primary May 20 via mail-in ballots. There are 52 delegates at stake.

Hillary is a fighter, however she fights dirty. I would much rather have a brilliant man as president even if it does seem elitist to the people who don't have the brains to look down the road and see what is going to happen if Clinton wins this election. I am disapointed in the inteligence of the elder adults. I am a 64 year old white women and I applaud the younger adults who are looking out for Americas future by voting for Obama. Keep up the good work........

I find it funny every time someone from Sen Clinton's campaign farts it ends up in the ticker. Every time a new ad goes out there is a complete script usually links to were you can see it by she is getting what she paid for from someone. You don't see the coverage when Obama launches every new ad. CNN= Clinton New Network. I am going back to the huffington post at least they post everything good or bad about every candidate and trust people are smart enough to read investigate and make up there own minds.

Great, she wants to fight while Obama wants to bring people together. She's like the school yard bully. Take your toys (including Bill) and go home.

Hillary if you were so much of a fighter why did get booed at the Jefferson dinner on Friday and they booed the Gov of NC then Hillary supporter was listen to her and they was looking at her like she was crazy then next then I know people started to chant Obama, Obama, then she kept quiet for couple of second. I wondering why CNN has not post this or talk about it. Everyone should go to abcnews.com and read about it how they booed Hillary and the Gov of NC this is the true Hillary got booed at the Jefferson dinner on Friday

Obama showed that he was the REAL leader for people when the
experts confirmed that his gas tax plan was better than the Hillary-McCain
plan. We don't need a fighter, we need a LEADER.

The fact that Clinton's demand that Congress vote on the socalled tax holiday has not been taken up by a democratically lead congress indicates her lack of support.

How will this woman be able to even bring democrats together let alone work with Republicans.

3 to 1 lead by Obama today in superdelegates....Where is the title "Obama closing in on Clinton superdelegate support"?

Time yo update your delegate count CNN!!

One HRC comment that I agree with. Yep, she is a fighter....but the problem is she keeps fighting with friends instead of foes....and we have already had enough in-fighting in Washington....We need someone who is more than just a fighter- someone with grace, vision and integrity and HRC is not that person....

. . .I think Hillary really means that she makes the people fight against each other after she divides them.

She's a fighter alright, she is fighting for her self and no one else. Anyone will tell you that unless Hillary wins the rest of the priimaries with 70% of the votes, she will not win the nom. She will drag our party down for her own self interest. I am all for her staying to the end but her devisivness has consequences.
