Limbaugh comes out for Obama

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/05/07/art.limb.gi.jpg caption=" Limbaugh now wants Obama to be the Democratic nominee."](CNN) - He has publicly urged Republicans to vote for Hillary Clinton to keep the divisive Democratic nomination fight alive, but talk radio host Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday it's Barack Obama who he really wants to be the party's nominee.

"I now believe he would be the weakest of the Democrat nominees," Limbaugh, among the most powerful voices in conservative radio, said on his program. "I now urge the Democrat supereldegates to make your mind up and publicly go for Obama."

"Barack Obama has shown he cannot get the votes Democrats need to win – blue-collar, working class people," Limbaugh also said. "He can get effete snobs, he can get wealthy academics, he can get the young, and he can get the black vote, but Democrats do not win with that."

For months, Limbaugh has urged his listeners in states with open primaries to cross party lines and support Clinton in an effort he has dubbed "Operation Chaos." The conservative talk show host has said the Republican Party will benefit from a protracted Democratic race that grows more bruising by the week.

This is just another political strategy. He has finally realized that Obama is unstoppable is only saying this to undermine his victory. In reality, the republicans are more afraid of Obama than Hillary

It amazes me how Rush plays with the intelligence of the democratic party. Why is this not illegal to do in this democracy? Thousands of republicans listen to him and vote for Hillary Clinton to cause chaos. Now that Obama is set to receive the nomination, Rush tries to cause more chaos. Yet Democrats will continue to bicker and be devisive. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!

This is your life. Rush is already rich. Why are you not angry? These people are disrespecting you and your worried about supporters and how they are nasty. Give me a break! How many people on this blog have actually met the person whom they support? How many people on this blog have sat down and had dinner with the person they support? How many people on this blog can call the person they support on the phone right this minute? You don't know these people and everything they stand for. You are taking other peoples words or letting someone small minded influence your decisions. WAKE UP!

This is your life that you are throwing around. HRC or Obama can't do this without us, united and strong. This is for your future and the future of your children.

By the way I am a republican who wants change. I am rich and I'm doing very well under the current administration, however I live in the United States of America. I am ashamed of my party and would like to live in a united and successful America where all can prosper. I have met all three candidates personally, and all three of them have issues outside of the public marketing that is shown thru the media.

What kind of game is this? First he tries to get Hillary to be the nominee and now that she is losing he thinks that if he tells everyone to vote for Obama it will get the superdelegates to swing her way! Don't think it will work for you!

Whether it is Obama or Clinton going against Mccain, dems will win in Nov. Mccain is a very weak candidate. Even I, an unknown, can win if I ran against Mccain.

I already knew what Rush's objective was! Of course Obama is the weaker candidate. I bet the 527 will have a field day with him. They are just waiting for him to get the nomination!

Democrats, you want Obama---well you got em!!

    GO OBAMA!

Rush is the king of lies. Take anything he says and you know the opposite is true. This only just confirms that Democrats made the right choice with Obama.

    Veterans in Kansas,

and what should it tell us? It tells me that Rush is a flip-flopping idiot who thinks he still has significant influence over a large voting block. He doesn't. Last week he was "for Clinton," and now he's not.

    What does it tell YOU?

What's so hypocritical is how evangelicals support this druggie convict, thinking their religion and political party is one and the same. He calls upon followers to be divisive, acting as some author of confusion.

Now who does that remind you of?

    Well isn't that special.

Oh yeah the good old reverse Psychology.
Rush, we know the Republican's are TERRIFIED of Obama.
Their one big weapon (Rev Wright) against him did not sink him, hence they have nothing to use against him in November.
Get ready Rush and all the right wing meanies, Obama is comming to town.

With his income from spewing hate, what does Mr. Big think he is? A laborer who toils in the workplace? Move On should run more pictures of his "compound" in Fla. It makes some of his rich neighbors look poor.
