Limbaugh comes out for Obama

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption=" Limbaugh now wants Obama to be the Democratic nominee."](CNN) - He has publicly urged Republicans to vote for Hillary Clinton to keep the divisive Democratic nomination fight alive, but talk radio host Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday it's Barack Obama who he really wants to be the party's nominee.

"I now believe he would be the weakest of the Democrat nominees," Limbaugh, among the most powerful voices in conservative radio, said on his program. "I now urge the Democrat supereldegates to make your mind up and publicly go for Obama."

"Barack Obama has shown he cannot get the votes Democrats need to win – blue-collar, working class people," Limbaugh also said. "He can get effete snobs, he can get wealthy academics, he can get the young, and he can get the black vote, but Democrats do not win with that."

For months, Limbaugh has urged his listeners in states with open primaries to cross party lines and support Clinton in an effort he has dubbed "Operation Chaos." The conservative talk show host has said the Republican Party will benefit from a protracted Democratic race that grows more bruising by the week.

"I now urge the Democrat supereldegates to make your mind up and publicly go for Obama."

Did he really say "supereldegates"? I doubt it, maybe you should try to proofread these better.

Rush Limbaugh must be mixing Viagra and narcotics again....Anyone who tunes into his radio show is most likely doing the same sort of drugs. Here is a guy America should look up to, Right? Talk about an elitist, phony, fake, drug addict.......Guy's like Limbaugh and O'Reilly are on their way out of the business. American's have figured these sort of people out. They were all for sending our young son's and daughter's into a war that should never have been. They played it over and over and over until America believed them. They should be held accountable for the evil preaching they do. They are not getting closer to the unemployed line.

It is just so sorry that many American's trusted them.

If you've actually ever followed Rush and what he's been saying in the past, he never wanted to actually pick a canidate by voting for Clinton, but just cause "chaos" and send the fight to the convention.

Now his point is to make it appear that Obama is the weaker canidate to give Superdelegates pause so, once again…the fight goes to the convention.

So before all of you Clinton backers start the "see, he's not electable" chant, please do your homework first.

Rush is publicly stating what Hillary Clinton supporters already know.

Obama can't win – only Hillary can make it to the finish line.

If Obama is the Dem's nominee we are sunk. End of Story. Ready for 4 more years of McBush? If not, then SD's – think real hard on this one.

Perhaps Limbaugh is just trying to get look like he still carries weight - say you're for Clinton and hope she wins Indiana. Then say you're for Obama and hope he wins the nomination. I very much doubt the superdelegates are going to do anything *because* Rush said to, rather than because Obama is the clear winner.

Limbaugh will use any trick in the book to get Hillary nominated,
because the Republicans want her bad. Limbaugh is tricking us.

Evangellicals support Limbaugh? Really? Oh God, What has

Democracy depends on its citizens voting for the people they think will do the best job in office. Limbaugh's attempts to wreak havoc in the primaries are un-American. He accomplishes – along with the ditto heads who follow his lunacy – something terrorists would love to accomplish. Disrupt an Amrican election.

The guy's ego is bigger than all of us.

Thinking people pay no mind to what this comedian says. He and his small-minded followers are grasping at straws, trying to find any light at the end of their collapsed tunnel.

Urging voter fraud is not only immoral, unchristian, and undemocratic, it is also illegal in Ohio (although the moron probably will not be prosecuted).

You cant fall for this idiot. He really wants Hillary.
At first he asks voters to vote for Hillary and of course some will actually listen but democratic sups obviously wont. But if he urges them to vote for Obama so they'll just vote for HRC instead.

    Reverse Psychology Rush?

I heard him on his show today when he was talking about the race and he actually said that he knows that they can beat Hillary Clinton, but if he can somehow get people to think that it is Obama that they want to go against, then the Supers will rush to Clinton. He also said that an endorsement from him would "screw" Obama.

He also continued to try and raise doubts to the Supers about Obama. He said that they were afraid that the black people would turn on them if they voted against Obama. But then he added "Now you know they won't. They may be mad for a while, but they will be back. You own the black people." Those are Rush's words.

He really does still want to face Hillary, but he wants the media to start making it look like it is actually Obama.

    Perfect Timing Rush...
You realized the nomination is all but over, so you try to change your mind so that you can carry bragging rights that you decided the democratic nominee.

Limbaugh has no say in anything, but it's clear that he wants to alienate Obama supporters by saying he wants Obama to be the nominee. That way, in his eyes Clinton will pick up delegates that defect from Obama and go up against McCain, which leads to an easy Republican victory.

Limbough has figured out that Obama will be the nominee, so this is just a ploy for him to be able to say "I told you so." Come November, the capacity of dittoheads to impact anything will be fully discredited. Rush is clever, but he really should untie that other half of his brain!
