RNC launches new anti-Obama site

The RNC launched a new Web site Friday.

The RNC launched a new Web site Friday.

(CNN) - The Republican National Committee is stepping up its efforts against Barack Obama, launching a new Web site Friday that solicits voters to question the Illinois senator on issues "he has failed to address or refused to answer."

The site is encouraging both text and video submissions via YouTube. It also features a Web video suggesting certain questions to ask, including, "Why, as an Illinois state Senator, did he vote 'present' over 130 times instead of 'yes' or 'no' on difficult issues like abortion, crime, and guns?" and "Why did he tell donors in San Francisco that the economy has driven small town voters to 'cling' to guns and religion?"

Hey Tom, boy are you naive if you don't think that head to head, Obama isn't going negative. He did it with Hillary and he'll do anything to win the general election (sound familiar?). Naive!

this is terrible you can't believe anything on sites like that, which go out of their way to attack–twisting facts to that purpose.

To Clinton’s supporters, there’s nothing with the elections process she’s just happens to lose. If you vote for McCain because of that, then you’re joking with your country future. In this hard time of America economic, McCain will still continue fighting unnecessary war in Irag, continue wasting young Americans women and men lives in Irag, continue wasting billions of dollar in Irag, and people are facing hard time economic back home. You must not complain because he never promised you to stop the war, after all, he said he knew less about economic. I bet he will even attack Iran. Well this is not my own business, I’m not American and I don’t live in America. I just want peace in the whole world.
I knew CNN would not post this comment as usually.

Can we ask whether McCain will bring our sons and daughters home from Iraq? Or keep them there fighting for Bush, Cheney, and the Oil companies.

RNC – you have more serious questions to answer. What the hell are we in Iraq for? RNC = Murderer

Obama will get about 35%-40% of vote and will make McGovern look like a winner.
The Dems are stupid as usual picking an extreme left wing candidate again, out of touch with everyday people.

Obama is a great entertainer but he is NO president of the U.S.

I think its funny how hateful and naive so many liberals are.

You act as if Republicans are the only evil politicians. Democrats and Republicans are pretty much the same, in the sense that they pander to specific types of people in order to remain in power.

Wake up. I won't vote for a Dem because I refuse to take part in socialism, and thats what universal health care is all about. Its socialism, plain and simple. If you hate capitalism and America that much, the have fun living in Venezuela or China.

Obama is a socialist at the very least, probably could be qualified as a Commie though. "I want to take those oil company profits and give them to low income people"-–>Are you kidding me? This is not socialism? WHAT COUNTRY ARE WE IN?

Land of the Free? Yeah, until the Commies get in power and decide you have made too much money, we will take what we deem necessary and redistribute it to those who don't have as much. Oh, ok.

The DNC is more perfect than even Jesus makes no mistakes. Get a life DNC I know that you are scare for McCain to face Barack. The DNC will say or do anything like Hillary to trash Barack.
Tax gas holiday a big failure; stop mask the problems to get votes like Bill Clinton only goes to church when he need superdelagates votes. He'll watch football with you go to church with you when he needs your votes. Jesus told the group the one that think he perfect throw the first stone, they all walked away because none of them were perfect. I far as I am concern Bill is not perfect. Do you remember Monica Lowinsky America. Do you remember that Hillary was under fire in Bosnia and that was a lie America. John McCain does not understand the economy himself and he has a temper. Mike Huckabee is the one that need that internship he was talking about because Barack compaign is far more successful than his was period. Give cesar what is for Cesar; Barack is capable to be one of our best president and I do not understand why people refuse to accept the fact. The math will not work for Hillary to come on top it is impossible.

If Obama has answers for all the questions then it is no big deal.

But there is the question, can he answer truthfully

Oh, let's see the RNC ask more stupid questions like, "yes or no: have you stopped beating your wife?"

The RNC is soooo lucky that so many people are driven by anger and ego to fall for their crap. The GOP has little to offer the average American besides rehtoric, empty promises and a card that entitles you to beat your chest, "I am American, Hear Me Roar!"

Prejudiced White Guy Proud to Support Obama!!

Obviously the Republicans have not been paying attention. NikNas is correct. they did a story on why many people Vote Present. it is a stall tactic so that the bill can be renegotiated. and like Nik says, people try to tack things on that are not necessary. so if you vote yes on something. they will come back to you and say . "You voted for what?" or " why did you vote No for that?" when the reason is, it is never the first part of the bill that you disagree with it is all the other stuff that they tack on, not only that it shows that He actuall took the time out to read the crap that was being proposed. sound like something some people should do here. The funny thing about it CNN were the once that did the story on why people Vote Present.

    READ THIS DEMOCRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quoted by Concern Democrats "Those democrats that feel the need to support McCain or not vote to express their anger/hate/revenge are only hurting themselves. If Obama loses, he'll go back to the senate and he'll be alright. However, will you be OK with a failing economy, a continue war in Iraq, health care unresolved, conservative justices, etc…"

LETS ALL UNITE & STOP THIS BITTERNESS ....!!!!

The GOP is starting to sling the mud now, because that's all they have. Same old hash re-hashed......

They want people focused on the minutia in order to deflect attention away from the FACTS. And that facts all show that this country is seriously hurting after two terms of Bush mismanagement.

Looks like it's shaping up for an Obama landslide in the fall......

Margeaux, "Obama is going to get slaughtered ... . Maybe that will get that smug, arogant look off of his face." –is pretty much what the Clinton camp said about him. Instead of prognosticating, how about raising issues. Paris, "And as soon as you question him they label you as racist." Of course you're not a racist for questioning a candidate. Give the folks in this thread to know what 20 questions you have - perhaps they can answer them for you. If the USA is going to make it through the 21st century, we need less attack and more dialogue.

I cannot wait to see this general election season get started. This is going to be good. Obama was being way too nice too Hillary, probably because she will get on TV and start crying at the drop of a dime. I bet Obama's composure is going to piss McCain off. I can't wait to see them in a debate when John McCains face is all red and Obama is looking as cool as a fan on high.

    Obama 08 and 12
