RNC launches new anti-Obama site

The RNC launched a new Web site Friday.

The RNC launched a new Web site Friday.

(CNN) - The Republican National Committee is stepping up its efforts against Barack Obama, launching a new Web site Friday that solicits voters to question the Illinois senator on issues "he has failed to address or refused to answer."

The site is encouraging both text and video submissions via YouTube. It also features a Web video suggesting certain questions to ask, including, "Why, as an Illinois state Senator, did he vote 'present' over 130 times instead of 'yes' or 'no' on difficult issues like abortion, crime, and guns?" and "Why did he tell donors in San Francisco that the economy has driven small town voters to 'cling' to guns and religion?"

    Politics as usual....lol

Obama has set his campaign up perfectly for attacks.

Everything they say will be taken with a grain of salt if it is not factual. It's just gonna bounce right off of him.

America is not going for politics as usual this year.

Repub's going down, and i can't wait till Senator Hillary joins the fight against them because she is ferocious, with Bill too, they don't stand a chance.

Hey either way This is going to be the largest landslide victory in November that the USA has ever seen! for once the people are truly starting to wake up and have decided that it is time to change and reform this great nation and take it true place in the world community. not as a dictating bully! but as the beacon of peace, hope and prosperity that it was originally founded on!

The Republicans so far have one web site that at best spins lie after lie. they are good at those! By contrast the Obama campaign have nearly one million volunteers getting underway with this voter registration drive. There are so many people in this country that have never voted because they do not believe there voice will be heard and more and more as people see this campaign is by the people for the people! We will unite and take back are great nation and send these special interest groups corp American lobbyist back from were they came! I hope they put them in prison were they belong!

Go Obama 08 Yes We Can

  7. Canadian Point of View

Watching this Democratic race for the nomination closely from Canada, It's hard not to question wether Americans are as dumb as the stereotype would label them. Clearly they are not and I don't believe that but how could Clinton supporters vote for McCain over Obama? Their platforms are totally different. This makes one wonder what reasons are they supporting Clinton? Is it possibly race or gender? Her core supporters are uneducated whites in rural areas. Maybe if they were somewhat educated they would be less ignorant and see that voting for McCain is going against what Clinton stands for.

I do not think Clinton should be forced out, but rather leave on her own will. I just hope that if Obama is the nominee, she will whole heartedly support him and rally behind him and not try to start her own party or something destructive along those lines. I initially thought she damaged his campaign, but he proved to be strong and weathered the criticism and carried on to being well vetted.

In my closing, I sincerly hope, whom ever the nominee is, Democrats will rally behind them and defeat McCain. Even in Canada, we suffer from Bush.

NO NO NO....YOU GUYS ARE PLAYING IT OUR WAY THIS TIME NO MORE PHONEY POLITICS.....WE ARE ASKING YOU THE QUESTIONS:

    1) WHY WON'T REPUBLICANS APOLOGIZE FOR THE 8 YEARS OF HELL THEY PUT THIS COUNTRY THROUGH WITH AN AIRHEAD LIKE BUSH IN THE WHITEHOUSE.

    2) WHY DID JOHN MCCAIN NOT REJECT THE SUPPORT OF HIS OBVIOUSLY HATEFUL PASTOR THAT SAID AMERICA DESRVED 911 AND KATRINA AND IT WAS GODS WILL TO PAY AMERICA BACK?

    3) WHAT SHOULD THE AMERICAN PEOPLE MAKE OF YOUR REFUSAL TO HONOR MARTIN LUTHER KING SOMEONE WHO FAUGHT FOR CIVIL LIBERTIES FOR ALL RACES, GENDER AND RELIGION?

4A) HOW DO YOU EXPECT US CONTINUE TO SPEND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN IRAQ WHEN WE HAVE A CRUMBLING ECONOMY?

4B) HOW DO YOU WANT TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE OVER 4000 AMERICANS WE SENT TO DIE OVER A LIE..WMDS?

    5) HOW DO YOU RESPOND TO PEOPLE WHO ASK YOU WHY YOU THINK THE BEST FISCAL POLICY IS TO HAVE NONE. JUST SIT AND WATCH?

    6) HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU WANT TO FLIP FLOP ON WHETHER GIVING TAX BREAKS TO THE WEALTHY DURING A WAR IS RESPONSIBLE OR OTHERWHISE?

    7) HOW DO YOU PROPOSE WE PAY FOR THE GAS TAX HOLIDAY YOU PROPOSED?

    8) HOW DO YOU SAY YOU ARE GOING TO RUN AN HONEST AND RESPECTABLE CAMPAIGN ONE DAY AND THEN TURN AROUND AND USE HAMAS ENDORSING YOUR OPPONENT AS A TACTIC?

    9) HOW CAN YOU CLAIM TO BE IN TOUCH WITH WORKING AMERICANS WHEN YOUR WIFE IS WORTH OVER 100mILLION DOLLARS AND YOU FLY AROUND IN HER COMPANY JET?

    10) WHEN ARE REPUBLICANS GOING TO LEARN THAT WE AS AMERICANS ARE OUR BROTHERS KEEPERS AND OUR VALUES REVOLVE AROUND THAT NOTION?

Just shows you how out of touch the Republicans are. Reading yesterday's news. Asked and answered! What's the matter, you can't find your bearings? No honor in the McCain camp.

Hey Obama supporters, this has nothing to do with Hillary. Keep it up and we will never unite and loose again in November, stop being so anti Hillary. Obama needs all the help he can, you think he will win with only his supporters...I think not.

hahaha this is downright. pathetic he has already answer those questions repeatedly.

it's not about getting the answers for the RNC, its's about repeating the questions so many times that ignorant people create their own answers to them.

the RNC "preying on the ignorant since before you were born!"

Those are the "issues" the people of the RNC are concerned about? That's weak.

Obama's supporters keep making negative comments on Hillary and we will never unite. do you think Obama will win the white house with only 52% of the democratic vote...not. This has nothing to do with Hillary.

  20. Obama ... Is for what???

Obama has never stood for anything. What is his past record??? He doesn't answer the tough questions, and he refuses to explain his position on the issues that matter. He continues to deny invitations to debates (and he will continue to do so in the General Election).
He does have persona. Maybe he should go into advertising or info-mercials.
McCain is about the same without the persona.

Yes and the RNC forgot the most important question why hasn't he gone to Iraq yet to see whats going on since he says he has better foreign policy experience than McCain.

I have seen statements like this a few times. He has gone to Iraq, he wrote about the experience in his book. You can find the dates he was there as well and if you would like I am sure you can verify the trip fairly easily. He also talks about a trip he took to the former soviet block countries when he discusses our nations policy to provide funding for the securing of biological and chemical weapons. I believe the policy was created by a Republican member of congress and turned out to be a great idea. Very interesting read.

Ah, the politics of hate and fear. Thank goodness Barack Obama offers us a much needed break from this. He is the one we've been waiting for. The RNC is showing us exactly what they are made of.

So called Democrats that refuse to vote for Obama are foolish and truly have no democratic values. You made up you mind 4 years ago that Hillary Clinton was going to be the dem. nom. and now that somebody with new shows to be a stronger, smarter candidate, you won't listen to his message. Vote Mccain in November, you'll probably be laid off work soon after.

Not this time–these typically 'bedrock' Republican election strategies will fall into the ever growing sink-hole of the Economy, Iraq, Health Care...
