McCain launches '2013' web ad

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Sen. McCain laid out a bold vision of what he intends to accomplish during his first term in a new web ad."]
(CNN) – On the same day that Sen. John McCain gave an ambitious speech laying out what he intends to accomplish by the end of his first term in office, his campaign released an accompanying Web ad dramatizing those hypothetical achievements.

“The year: 2013,” an announcer says as the words “2013” appear on screen. Then the ad goes through a laundry list of accomplishments McCain envisions: stabilizing the Middle East, reducing the threat of nuclear terrorism, strengthening border security, advancing energy independence, reforming wasteful spending by the federal government, delivering health care choice, and restoring economic confidence. “The year: 2013, the president: John McCain,” the announcer says as McCain’s image appears on screen.

McCain, the Republican Party’s presumptive presidential nominee, has been touring fall battleground states for the past several weeks while he lays out his policy proposals and reaches out to constituencies he will need to win the White House in November.

Hey uhhhh... Angry "Michigan Voter". I'm soooo sorry that Obama is the wrong color for you. YOU don't get it. Mr. Obama WILL be the next President. If Hillary manages to snatch it from him then she has my FULL SUPPORT. McCain can go pound sand for all I care!

    Dems.... don't be dumb! UNITE!

Democrats unite! Enough bashing each other. It is pretty certain that Obama is the winner. Clinton supporters - it wasn't some DNC conspiracy against Senator Clinton. It is simply that a lot of people liked Obama, a lot of people liked Clinton and Obama received more votes. I like the way the Democratic party works - "winner take all" primaries don't give us a candidate that is chosen by the majority of the people. "winner take all" primaries do not make it so that all our votes count. Both sides have played politics - because obviously that is how the game is played. But politics doesn't need to be mean but can be an intelligent conversation. So the race is almost over. Five more states to go. And it does look like it will be Obama. So enough of the "I'll vote McCain" if my candidate doesn't win the primary. Do you really really want more of a Bush reign? Imagine what the Democrats can do with a Democratic president and a Democratic majority in Congress. This can be an awesome period in our history. So please let's all get together and put this country back on the right track!

2013....10,000 U.S. soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen have already been KIA. Gas is now $19.50 a gallon. thousands upon thousands of homes have fallen to foreclosure. Stock market has crashed. millions more Americans are sick and dying because they have no health care. Of course big CEO's of oil companies, Haliburton, etc. are living it up. Sounds like a real promising future.
only 95 more years of occupation of Iraq by this point.
    real smart.

How many posters here who claim "Hillary or McCain" are even democrats at all. List of odd occurrences this primary season:

    – Hillary gained the support of Fox news and the Vast Right wing conspirators to back her campaign.
    – The media has pushed Obama has a "white" problem despite winning a half a dozen states that have next to no Blacks. both Iowa and Washington State... 3% black or less. Vermont? Wyoming?
    – Some Hillary supporters actually attacked Michelle Obama with the same language used to attack Hillary a decade ago... what short memories we have.

That right 2013 a plan for everything to be normal. How many lives will be lost at that time though? Did McCain calculate the amount of lives and money involve?
If he intend using the military there in the midesat then let him approve the GI Bill that he said was too generous.
P Bush is no longer dancing for you McCain. Bush is now groaning becuase you have to face Obama.

"It is a serious error on the part of Sen. Obama that shows naiveté and inexperience and lack of judgment to say that he wants to sit down across the table from an individual who leads a country who says that Israel is a stinking corpse," McCain said.

That is why OBAMA and not McCain will be President. McCain's, like Bush's and Clinton's attitude is ANTAGONISTIC .

Jesus said and actually meant, "Love your enemy". He sat and ate with them, etc.

Gandhi said that the aim should be to win over enemies not vanquish them.

OBAMA has shown that he can and is prepared to sit down with "enemies" and try to reason with them. He is a reconciler, not a destroyer, nor a wimp.

For all the talk of the self-proclaimed fundamentalist standard bearers of Christianity , it is OBAMA with his clean spirit and clear vision who is trying to actually follow Jesus: "Peace I leave with you".

That is why the USA (and the world) very badly needs OBAMA as President of the USA.

So lets see, Hmmmm. Our troops will all have served 10 tours in Iraq and still come home to a lousy VA, lousy health care and crappy benefits. Republicans could care less about our brave men and women. They only like you when you keep their own family members from serving.

Not even single candidate have a solid plan to end the war in Iraq or Afghanistan

If you take republicans most of them are not happy with Mc Cain other hand in democratic party try to sell a candidate before the race over some mainstream media endorsing that

    What is going on here?

Obama wearing a lapel pen now!!!!!!!! Honoring a country, it has to come from heart the way we respect our parents. Some show it out some don’t but if you listen to some one and honoring the country called fake
John Edwards endorsed Obama because to help him to get white votes, We don’t need third person help to vote for a candidate

DNC, some supper delegates and some media pushing Hillary to the corner Now she is becoming a victim But she is slowly getting place in Americans Heart. She may become a president if not she reserved her place in History

Mc Cain is a good person but now he try to sell anything to the voters to become president !!!

Thanks to CNN to gave me opportunity express my thoughts

I hate to tell all of you Obama supporters but he is in no way going to have troops home by 2009 or in 2009. The only people coming home then will be the ones that are already scheduled on the books now to come back . If you seriously ask anybody in the military they can tell you in reality it just is not possible. Equipment alone will take a year or more and there will be people left back just like there are in Korea, Germany, and Bosnia. Don't forget about Afganistan . We are still there too and the troops are there for 15 months as well. So listen to the fluff about troops in Iraq.....with no mention of Afganistan. This war will be going on for a long time to come no matter who wins in November. Two are at least honest about it while one is lying through his teeth.

This is absolutely, positively the stupidest... most absurd piece of crap I have ever seen in my 25 years. The middle-east has not been "stable" for 3000 years and you're going to do it in 5... You're going to instantly resolve all of their ideological and historical differences overnight, huh McBain?

Oh, God Bless McCain and the Repoilblican party. You disgusting excuses for human beings should all be castrated, floated out to sea and thrown overboard.

The only way this idiot would stabilize the middle-east in 5 years would be to start bombing the hell out of all them and piss them all off to the point that they cut off all oil exports to this country and sell it all to China. Then they could set aside their difference to unite and destroy the enemy to the rest of the world... the US.
