HP Boston : He is rolling in dough, he is not in debt like your girl Hillary. He has to raise more $ because she does not know how to exit gracefully. But I wouldn't expect a Hillary supporter to know about paying bills on time. Also, he does not have to beg for what donor s are willing to freely give. Nor is he shaking down 11 yearolds for their bike & video game money.

All Dem candidates agreed and signed that FL would not count. Rules are rules and they need to be followed. The only reason Hillary is fighting for these delegates to be sitted (which obama has not objected to because it's infact not in his control) is because she is lossing. Even if she is given the delegates from these 2 states. it still won't help. Most people on this blog are just ignorant republicans, no wonder you atre following after an ignorant McSame. Just watch the news tonight see how much support Obama has in FL. You will shoot yourselves.

Sorry, no one is asking you to vote or give money to the Obama campaign but I might mention that he has run his campaign just like he will run the White House. Pretty impressive with what he and his campaign have accomplished!!!!

For those saying Obama had nothing to do with Michigan and Florida, I suggest you actually pay attention. Obama sent teams of lawyers to both these states to block a re-vote resolution. The dems in these states did nothing wrong, they were forced into decisions and we have a party that punishes voters.

Is this the change you seek..some people allowed to vote, some not. Obama could have solved all of this by not using his legal team to block the he may not have started the problem( thanks DNC) he had a huge hand in helping block re-votes...

Story here is Obama knows he can not win Florida. Hillary wins Florida he is over. This man has not carried one large democratic state. You make him the nominee and we lose our chance of taking back the White House.

Marie (10:42 a.m) says, "how appalling – he wants money before Florida votes are even counted in the Primary."

This is what happens when people get too emotionally connected to their candidate–logic takes a back seat to loyalty.

Since when has someone campaigning waited until after the voting to ask for money? What would be the point of that?

I mean, I'm sorry your candidate is losing, but that's how it goes. Don't blame Obama for fundraising. It's how political campaigns are waged in the U.S. That is, unless you're like Hillary and can just lend your campaign millions of dollars whenever you need to.

I agree with you in principle, but can you please refrain from using words like "idiots".

In the future, can you please use the term "common-sense challenged?" 🙂

Why is Hillary campaigning in FL, is she looking for a free ride on media coverage? I think she’ll still be running for President on January 20 2009 inauguration day.

I am a Floridian AND an Obama supporter! Contrary to what folks outside of Florida are saying, most of us get that it's not his fault our votes didn't count!!

Idiot elected officials here are the ones who move our primary even though they knew the consequences (and BTW, it was mainly Republicans!!).

The votes were NOT fair, especially in MI, but here as well. Clinton is very well known and when we voted we really didn't know anything about Obama, especially since he couldn't come here. Believe me, if he had, the results would have been different, and because of that, they shouldn't count exactly as they were cast!!

Many of us are also disgusted that Clinton is portraying herself and fighting for us when she's really just fighting for her only hope, and even with ours and MI votes counting, it's pretty hopeless for her.

Finally, to say MI is valid even though she was the ONLY candidate they could choose (and nearly half still voted against her!) is ridiculous. Obama should not penalized for removing his name from a ballot in a state where they were told the results were not going to count, regardless of why some think he may or may not have taken it off. I as, why is Clinton the only one who did NOT take her name off?? Was it so that she could get votes and fight it IF she needed them?

So you don't want to count their votes, only split their delegates 50-50 when you lost by a landslide, and now you want their money, Sen. Obama? For shame, didn't your mother teach you better?

Let me make this very clear. Senator Obama lost New York by land slide to Senator Clinton.

Oue votes in Queens and other parts of New York did not count. We are as much upset as the people of Florida and MI but that has not stop our support.

I have donated more than $260.00 so far and my last donation was last night.

I support Obama because of my own belief that he is the best candidate and will lead this country forward while crossing party lines, race, wage, age etc.

I am glad I have done my share so far and I am willing to do more.

The fact is, the general election will take a lot of money and he Senator Obama received donations from working person like myself; over 1.4 million doners so far.

We need to come together and do our share for this country, our future and the future of our children.

Enough waste in Iraq while our brave men and women suffer and their kids and family loose. America first, wasted incestment on a war that does no good for this country is insane.

Awful tagline. Come on CNN, this is not a supermarket checkout tabloid. It's a political fundraiser, same thing all candidates do.

The first comment on this ticker says that Obama is trying to kiss and makeup. He has absolutely no reason to kiss and makeup for anything. He followed the rules as they were – she didn't. She should be the one apologizing for creating all of this controversy.

If we follow the rules as written, whether you like them or not, then there isn't an issue. Obama is now campaigning in a state that the DNC prohibited him for doing so prior to the primaries. She didn't.

Again, Hillary and her supporters play the victim. Good for him for sticking to the rules.

Its amazing how ignorant people can be. Someone calling himself Nobama states that Obama was the only one to violate the rules in "Florida and I quote " since he was the only one that violated the DNC rules to NOT campaign there during or before Primaries.. " The things people say. Obama and Hillary both agreed to abide by the rules and the punishment of Florida and Michagin. How can we prech to our young about following the rules when at the same time we want to change them to suit our needs. The only reason Hillary is pushing for the votes to count is because she is so far behind and trying to make a case for herself. If Obama were in the same spot as she about 3 months back he would have been forced to step down. She has been using her gender and Clinton name to further her cause. She manipulates the game daily and moves the goal post to suit her own greed. When she started she was not the champion for the poor working white man. Now today its for women and all the sexism. I was a Hillary supported until I saw her with a million faces. I am ashamed to see what hard core racist will do just not to have a black man in power. Many voting for her, hate her but just do not want to see Barack win. Fortunately they are not the majority. Thank God the majority of Americans are not this way. And thank God that Obama is not exploiting hatred as Hillary is doing. She cares only for her insatiable urge for power which is precisely the reason she stayed in her abusive marriage to Bill.

As for "The Mid West Sends a Message," I'm pretty sure Illinois is part of the "Mid West." Oh, but that doesn't count because it went for Obama, right?

It is so unfair and UN-AMERICAN to blame Prez. Barack Obama for a decision made by the Clinton appointed DNC in ralation to not counting FL and MI.
We alyways tell our kids to play according to the rules. When rules are broken the culprit has to pay, not those who followed the rules.

less and less for Obama supporters to complain about. he won or so you can't say he lost because of racists. CNN is broadcasting fund raiser dates and times to help him raise money. so you can't say the media hates Obama .

Obama is shady and should go back to Chicago and sell used cars with 24 inch rims to members of Trinity United Church of Christ.

I am a life-long democrat but if Obama is the nominee I will vote for McCain in the g eneral election.

  25. Shame on HRC

Why is Florida people blaming Obama – because the witch – Hillary started all of this trying to be deceitful and going in to Florida to campaign. She 'BROKE THE RULES" NOT Obama. Her and Bill will do anything to steal an election. She has no one to but herself by trying to pull a quick one. I truly hope that the DNC and Super Delegates put her and Bill in their place on May 31st. She won't win and pray that Obama is not forced to take her on as his VP!

Obama can raise money – that is why he contiunes to out raise Clinton and McCain the two idiots!
