Perino on McClellan

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/05/28/art.perino.gi.jpg caption="Perino expressed disappointment with McCllelan's new book."]
(CNN) - White House Press Secretary Dana Perino just released the following statement on former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan's new book.

"Scott, we now know, is disgruntled about his experience at the White House. For those of us who fully supported him, before, during and after he was press secretary, we are puzzled. It is sad – this is not the Scott we knew.

"The book, as reported by the press, has been described to the President. I do not expect a comment from him on it – he has more pressing matters than to spend time commenting on books by former staffers."

The media the real story they let us down with Bush and Iraq! They really let us down.

Over 4000 dead, what do you say to those families, BUSH, MCCAIN and CLINTON! Need to apologize to all AMERICANS for sending them to there death! Bush should be removed from office. Congress should start the Iraqi WAR hearings immediately find the truth please! Remove him from office, this will show all of America the government still works for the good of the people. George Bush has destroyed the creditability of the presidency even 4000 times worse then Bill Clinton and Monica scandal. If we ever need to go to war again can we trust congress and the White House to do the right thing.

The only way congress can restore there creditability as a functioning body of this government is to hold formal investigations in this horrible American tragedy the Iraq War.

What else would we expect from the administration's mouthpiece? It's their job, for crying out loud.

I wonder what her book will say....

  10. Puzzled?

Why didn't he "come out" when he was still Press Secretary? Because he wouldn't have a job! No honor, no integrity for 3 years he was unhappy knowing what he was doing - and did nothing. Don't buy the Book People!!!!

"he has more pressing matters than to spend time commenting on books by former staffers."

Yeah, because whether or not the justifications he gave us for going into a war that has cost us thousands of lives were merely propaganda is such a trivial matter.

Yeah, but not a single one of you has said that his statements are FALSE!

In other words, the Iraq War WAS based on lies, and all those 4,000 plus soldiers died because of that lie!

We impeached Clinton for lying about sex. But nobody died because of it. What about Bush?

What pressing matters does he have? Planning his next trip to Texas. You can't spin the truth. It is hard to answer to the truth when the whole world knows that you are a liar. The man came clean and I bet he feels much better but Bush must carry all that he has done to his grave some day.
Five hot days in the sun is what those poor people in New Orleans had to endure. Shame on Bush. Five days in America, not in some third world country but America. CHANGE is coming.

This doesn't come as a surprise. It's time for a new and sincere politics and I am an Obama supporter but as long as a democrat rules this country, we will move forward. (I don't care if it is a Clinton or Obama)

The President has more important things to do than defend his demoralizing two term presidency and the plethora of lies and misinformation it has bestowed upon the people of the world. Surely, many more former staffers will come out with information that we already know...and we will still be picking up the pieces for years to come.
