Perino on McClellan

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/05/28/art.perino.gi.jpg caption="Perino expressed disappointment with McCllelan's new book."]
(CNN) - White House Press Secretary Dana Perino just released the following statement on former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan's new book.

"Scott, we now know, is disgruntled about his experience at the White House. For those of us who fully supported him, before, during and after he was press secretary, we are puzzled. It is sad – this is not the Scott we knew.

"The book, as reported by the press, has been described to the President. I do not expect a comment from him on it – he has more pressing matters than to spend time commenting on books by former staffers."

So when does she find her conscience and come clean in a lucrative book deal? The Bush/Cheney regime is the epitome of "the boy who cried wolf" allegory.

    Meow, meow, meow!

The president doesn't have time for this?

Just what IS he doing these days????????????

I would suggest, Mr. Prez, that you DO read this book, if you are able.

McClellan wrote the book for MONEY - not for national unity or statesmanship. He can sell a lot of book to the Obamaniacs at this time.

Maybe he has night mares about the over 4000 American soldiers who died because of propaganda. You should do. All of you should be bought up for charges. I thank him for his honesty. Hopefully more people come out and tell the truth. We already know it but to own up to it makes a lot of us feel better. How do you people sleep at night.

What number is this move in the old playbook? Push it to the side without confirming or denying anything. Nothing Bush does or has done suprised me. NOTHING!! He can't get any lower in my eyes. Goodbye in 2009 and good riddance!

Of course you all are puzzled, another loose branch in the tree.
You thought making him a part of the family would be enough. The bush administration is possibly one of the most currupt in the US history.

It must be hard for her to sit up there with a straight face and defend the president. Oh but then she must be a republican.

Yeah I bet you're puzzled and at a loss right now. Finally a speck of truth comes out about what's going on and now they're going to be figuring out how to put this fire out. I may be GOP but I sure am fed up with this neo-con administration. Bush has been a yes-man to Cheney and his neo-con gang of advisors and has led this country down the wrong path. So they'll figure out how to best smear McClellan and send their puppet mouthpiece, Perino, back out to tell the world how wrong he is.

Why isn't he the Scott they knew? Because now he is finally refusing to march in lock step with the corrupt Bush regime, and telling the truth? This statement from the White house is meant to discredit him, but they haven't denied the allegations yet have they, why? They are true that's why and if they issue a statement of denial they could be prosecuted for perjury.

Dana Perino doesn't even know what the Cuban Missle Crisis was (which she admitted on NPR). SPIN SPIN SPIN! This whole administration makes me want to vomit. The straight-down ticket losses for the Republican Party will be unprecedented this November - good riddance to this rubbish!

It was obvious near the end that Scott was having a problem telling the administration's lies, so I'm not surprised by this. His Daily Show interview indicated that this was coming, but I will note that he did defend some of the administration's actions that many of us are still skeptical on.

It's also pretty obvious that Ms. Perino doesn't have the same problems, yet.

Typical governmental mouthpieces. I love the smug smile on her face. It reminds me of the simpering grin on GWB. Whether McL is looking to actually shed some real light on what that circus of an administration is like or whether he's trying to sell books, it's another notch in Duh's belt that McCain cannot afford as long as he needs the fool to help raise $
