Jimmy Carter, a superdelegate, has endorsed Obama .

(CNN) -
Former President Jimmy Carter, in a widely expected move, will endorse Barack Obama's presidential bid later Tuesday or early Wednesday.

Carter, a superdelegate who has frequently spoken favorably about Obama, told Britain’s Sky News last month that while he had not yet announced his decision publicly, after the last Democratic primary June 3, it would be time for Hillary Clinton to “give it up.”

He also said that Clinton “had a perfect right” to keep running – but that “a lot of the superdelegates will make a decision quite, announced quite rapidly, after the final primary on June 3."

The former president also told an interviewer last month that he believes Hillary Clinton would accept the vice presidential spot on the ticket, but that he did not believe such an offer would be made by Obama "because I don't see how it would help his ticket. I think he needs somebody like a [former Georgia Sen.] Sam Nunn, but I won't name others.”

Nunn, the former Georgia senator, is known for his foreign policy and national security expertise.

Carter's endorsement.....isnt that awesome, Now,I am ready to see OBAMA not CLINTON in January 2009....She will not even be VeePee.

Oh, I want to add that thruout this Campaign and even now, the clintons have been careless with words...misspeaking and apologizing, The next topic on Politicker will be Bill Clinton apologizing for "Scumbag" remark....
My question is, 'What were they thinking when they were making up those words?". Anyways, the voting polls in Obama's favor is not biased so far.

The greatest president of them all is endorsing the greatest candidate ever.

Yeah... that IS sarcasm from a TRUE democrat... who, like Michelle Obama, will have to think long and hard about voting for the other democratic nominee, if my choice isn't the one.

Oh wait... I've had months to think about it. Nah...scrunch my noseup... no to Obama.

It looks like the Clinton folks are going to stay mad until the end.

That's a bummer, because if you think Carter is worse than Bush, then you are no help for the cause anyway.

So Obama can join him in the another long list of Democratic losers. The only winning team since Carter left office 30 years ago has been CLINTON.
