Obama making imprint on DNC organization

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/06/05/art.obamadnc.gi.jpg caption="Obama will ask the DNC to stop taking lobbyist and PAC money."](CNN) - Barack Obama is set to ask the Democratic National Committee to no longer accept money from federal lobbyists or political actions committees, CNN has learned from sources at the DNC and the Obama campaign.

CNN has also learned Obama will ask one of his top operatives, Paul Tewes, to help the DNC with its fundraising operation, which has lagged far behind its Republican counterpart this year.

Tewes will be the Illinois senator's eyes and ears at the DNC and see to it that the party and the candidate are in sync, according to sources.

They will never get another dime from me. I think the way this election was handled if a disgrace to democracy.

"Charlott" Democrocy is EXACTLY what is going on here! Obama is doing the job he was ELECTED by the MAJORITY to do.

THIS is a perfect example of:

    1) A poster PRETENDING to be a Democrat or "ex- Democrat"

    2) A person so pitifully blinded by emotions and ignorance that we welcome them to leave the party and pout.

I believe it is a pretender though posting to create problems within the party.

There are Hundreds of fake posters so beware. It is only going to get worse.

For every bitter and deliusional Clinton follower he loses, he'll gain ten new supporters.

America is blessed to have him.

    Its so easy

just think about it bush-mccain made 3 million dollars in one fundraiser together.

We can beat this machine if 1 million people donated 5 dollars for a total of 5 million.

Take that Bush McCain Fat cats

The time for a new type of politics controlled by the people has come.

Now that Obama has "talk the talk," he is beginning to "walk the walk." Being true to himself will only cause being true to the American voter......

yes. Show your capacity to change the country. This will help McCain to understand your leadership. Hillary did not want to go. Believe me McCain is easy to beat than Hillary. Let's us move quickly to sucess in November. Believe me, I will be busy preparing the inauguration ceremony for January 2009. YES WE CAN

Talking about CHANGE? Obama has started the course and will Mcsame follow suit is the BIG question? I hope Obama challenges the RNC to do the same, it a great start. Put your money to where mouth is...

Lots of candidates talk about doing this, but never follow through. I'm looking foward to seeing how this plays out. Its a shrewd move considering McCain used to be the champion of campaign finance reform. This could be a huge campaign highlight for Obama.

If the DNC agrees to stop accepting PAC money, they can count me in as a new donor.

Change is needed & It's time for the DNC to recognize this.

For those few Obama haters…what is he going to do to our country? Maybe he will wreck the economy, Drive us to a pointless war, Run up the deficit, Make us hated around the world? Been there and living that. Should I continue.
Now stop your hating and do what most countries in the world are doing at this moment and admire Barack Hussein Obama because whether or not you all like it I and a lot of (ignorant) people are going to do whatever it takes to hear a State of the Union address from this man. How's them apples!
PS All McCain supporters should be drafted first and if they are women be present on the day when he and his judges overturn a woman's right to choose.

And the hate goes on.........why we can not blame the candidates for the division in the DEM party we can blame the voters.....this has been the most hate filled mess I have ever seen. STOP hating Hillary it is not going to Sen Obama any good. Stop calling him Mr President he has not one yet and it is disrespectful. His followers want him to implememnt this great change well don't wait on him start making a change yourself. I have a problem with the hate between the two the supporters of Sen Obama and Sen Clinton. Show some dang respect when she is no longer in the picture I wonder what the Hillary haters will do with their time. Oh that is right pick on McShame grow up his name is McCain and calling people Billary and McSame or McShame is a sign of being juvinile and Sen Obama supporters are suppose to be so well educated.

The DNC will support our Candidate and the new leader of the Demicratic Party......Unlike the Republicans............this Democrats are Anti-war, Pro womens choice, and against frivilous International Trade Agreements and Pacts. I would ask ALL those disillisioned Hillary Folks to consider the above before you vote for McCain. Remember that your vote could cause a VERY Lengthy involvement in Iraq/ Afganatan and cause many more deaths and severe injuries to OUR troops. They are fighting to protect our principles ,including.. the right to vote. This right should never be used as a punishment or taken friviliously when casting it.........too much depends on every vote. IF PERSONAL FEELINGS get in the way of what is the correct course for this Country it is best not to squander your American RIGHT for poor judgement.

I am an Obama supporter and to the rest of the Obama supporters, please take que from Mr. Obama and let go of the Clinton bashing, take some time to cool off, it has been a heated campaign but it's about over now, and onto the general. The hateful talk isn't gonna help anyone, don't join the rush limbaugh's chao's people, instead help unite us so those chaos people can see a wave of blue come November, on top of seeing a wave of blue for the house and senate seats, believe me it will all be worth it! Let them hate all they want and we'll prove to them it's not gonna work this time, they can cry like the crybabies they are all they want, lets rise above it, while they continue their hateful tactics to give us the sympathy vote.
