Obama making imprint on DNC organization

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/06/05/art.obamadnc.gi.jpg caption="Obama will ask the DNC to stop taking lobbyist and PAC money."](CNN) - Barack Obama is set to ask the Democratic National Committee to no longer accept money from federal lobbyists or political actions committees, CNN has learned from sources at the DNC and the Obama campaign.

CNN has also learned Obama will ask one of his top operatives, Paul Tewes, to help the DNC with its fundraising operation, which has lagged far behind its Republican counterpart this year.

Tewes will be the Illinois senator's eyes and ears at the DNC and see to it that the party and the candidate are in sync, according to sources.

Iam so proud of my country taking this on so strong.Iam 58 ,white female ,change to a democrat to be part of this change and the hope for the young people. Our age group as really messed this country up.It is time to change from our old views and grow up as a country. To be a leader in a world that has come so much into one market.War is a old world ,what we do effects our neighbors so much more than ever before. So Iam hoping the DNC helps America move into a country to be a world leader again.

This is a ture stance and a show of leadership. This candidate has taken fundraising to a new level and I think all Americans now can see what truth, honesty, and hardwork form the bottom up can do. Those critics need to look at the issues and how he will lead this country to a new hight and stop the petty bickering. Leave that for McCain.

This is one way to start reforming politics and how things are run. Make sure that what you do is clean and free from influence; you need to be able to say that the ideas that we run on are ours and not given to us based on someone else's agenda.

He's already acting presidential and taking the necessary steps for Americans to take our country back from special interest.

Good choices for the DNC and great choices for America.

Why is it the bitterness that you exude so typical of the 'wronged' woman. I can understand disappointment, but this level of viciousness is one of the reasons Hillary lost.
Many of her followers are misplacing their emotions, directed to the wrong person.
The number one reason she lost however, is that Obama is the right person for the times.

Way to Go Obama! Start with the MONEY!!!
Now, don't put Hillary on the ticket and everything will be fine and you will win!

Pick someone else that you will be able to trust. Hillary and Bill you cannot trust.

This is the way it should be! This is democracy in action! This is why people like him, he just does not believe that established conventional politics can not be changed. I will donate small amounts and often. This is my government, our government. We are the government.

Obama plans on liberal nonesense. Wake up America.
For the folks that don't remember JFK...he was not as good
as people believe. He really screwed things up. Many affairs
back then, Monroe and the likes.
