Obama, McCain talk

(CNN) - One night after Barack Obama officially clinched the Democratic presidential nomination, the Illinois senator had a short conversation with his rival for the presidency, John McCain.

According to Obama Senior Adviser Linda Douglass, the conversation was cordial, and both said they looked forward to a 'civil discussion.'

Obama supporters don't be put off by the so-called Clinton supporters saying they will vote McBush, not vote at all or will do a write in for Hillary. The overwhelming majority of them are the stealth Republicans that Bush Limpbaugh and Karl Rove have writing in to sway folks. It's the same tactics of Bush Limpbaugh and klarl Rove getting the radical right hate mongers to vote for Hillary so she would be the candidate that they really wanted McBush to face in November. They knew Hillary would unify and ignite their GOP supporters who hated her. Also, any Hillary supporters who want to fall for that crap and vote for the same GOP hate mongers and war mongers and who truly hated Hillary, well too bad. You won't change them as they have lost all reeason and I say good riddance. We need positive supporters willing to work for Obama and beat McBush. We definitely don't need irrational, whinny sexists or racists. nmaybe the GOP is where they truly belong.

It doesn't make a difference McCain or Obama. Our government whether run by democrats or republicans isn't capable of solving problems because they are too busy trying to get re-elected. For 35 years they didn't do anything about gas standards, environment, social security, health care and they won't do anything now because they have a vested interest in not solving problems. Leadership in government? Efficiency in government?

It is expected that some women are going to feel that Hillary was a victim of sexism. But, I know from facts that every single person I talked to about our candidates had nothing to do with the fact that she was a woman. The fact of the matter was is that she ran a manufactured and processed campaign people are sick of seeing. Americans want truth and someone who they can actually empathize with. Change should be on everyone's forefront in this country. The people have to get us out of this war, economic crisis, diplomatic failures, and the person to lead us in that direction is neither Hillary or John. They are the product of the problem that brought us here to begin with. They are scared to change what should be changed and people need to be aware that things cannot continue to go this way in our country or we will eventually meet our doom.

Thank god Hillary won't be getting into the White House, not as president anyway!!! But I am also terrified at the thought of Obama getting into the white house. Obama is a great speaker, a little too great for my comfort. He's very Jimmy Carter-esque, and he has a way of making people feel all warm and fuzzy.

Obama says "Yes We Can", but he should be addressing "How We Can". I think Obama's political inexperience is going to be his downfall. And I think if he gets in office we're all in for a very unpleasant surprise.

YOU KNOW HILLARY HAS MORE POWER NOW THAN SHE DID RUNNING. BOTH OBAMA AND MCCAIN WANT HER SUPPORTERS, RATHER IRONIC ESPECIALLY WHEN OBAMA SAID MONTHS AGO THAT HE COULD GET ALL HER SUPPORTERS BUT SHE COULD NOT GET HIS. HE WAS WRONG........NO MATTER WHAT HILLARY SAYS THERE ARE STILL UNANSWERED QUESTION ABOUT OBAMA, HE STILL HAD RELATIONS WITH THE WEATHERMAN, FARAKHAN, AND THE IDIOTS OF HIS SO CALLED 'CHURCH' AS WELL AS WITH REZKO. HE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED AND SHE BROUGHT THAT OUT. SO NO MATTER ANYONE SAYS YOU GUYS, THE MEDIA WHO ELECTED OBAMA OR THE DEMOCRATIC POWERS THAT BE, OBAMA WILL NOT GET THE MAJORITY OF HILLARY'S SUPPORTERS.

As all American Christians would know...the Gospel of Matthew says "Watch out for false prophets; they come to you in sheeps clothing but inwardly they are ferocious wolves." Things are not as they always appear- now the general election will allow us to see the real candidates. Check VOTESMART.org for candidate voting records....you'll be surprised at the wolf in sheep's clothing. This country's future depends on it.

Osama, oops I mean Obama, you are the AntiChrist and just so you know you don't fool me. I can read you like a book. You may win this election, but it's only b/c it's God's will; for it is written in the Holy book. I feel sorry for the people who follow you."

    Dear Nikki,

I'm very confused by your statement–don't you know who God bless no man curse. Get it up already, someone can't be "Anti Christ" and still be bless.

    Dear Dccret,

I too am voting on the issues. And here are the correct answers:

    1. Economy McCain
    2. Education McCain
    3. Energy & Oil McCain
    4. Foreign Policy McCain
    5. Woman and Civil Rights Obama
    6. Homeland Security McCain
    7. Universal Healthcare McCain
    8. Iraq War McCain
    9. Iran McCain

My reason is because Obama has not yet proven himself whereas McCain has. Doesn't it just make sense that it depends on where you stand at on the issues? Who says YOU and Obama are right on these issues. I happen to think you are totally wrong. so based on My beliefs, and being a corporate manager in a Fortune 500 company, I'd say McCain is far and away the best candidate to be President. By the way, what credentials do YOU have?

Also notice I left off immigration because they are both wrong on this issue IMO. Illegal means it's against the law and until Congress votes or the Supreme Court rules that people can come in this country any time they want, then nothing short of completely sealing off the borders and deporting all illegals is correct.

John McCain may start out civil but as soon as Obama tries the no substance crap and the dirty politics that he did against Hillary Clinton the gloves will come off. Hillary lost because of some stupid advisors and because she refused to fight dirty like Obama and the democrat leadership committee. Contrary to what the media portrays Bill Clinton as losing his touch and making so called racist statements about Jesse Jackson and south carolina was nothing but a B.S. farce that the media and the Obama campagin used as reverse racism baiting to take out Bill Clinton's Impact on the race. Hillary should have listen to Bill . He seen this ploy and said he would have got down in the dirt with them. If she had listen to him instead of some of them bleeding liberals she would be the nominee now. The republicans will play ball like Bill would have done. They want allow themselves to be called a racist and not answer back. Obama got a free ride on that from the democrat party and the media even though he ,his wife and advisors and reverends and church members were the ones making all the racist remarks and hate speeches about america. Look for the Michele Obama video and a lot more to come out in the october surprise. The republicans will use it and not let the media hide it or spin it for their annointed one. The republican party is not scared of the press.
