McCain daughter writing children's book

(CNN) - Meghan McCain, daughter of presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain, is trying her hand at being a children's author.
The publishing giant Simon & Schuster announced Wednesday that McCain, 23, will write a children's book about her famous father set to be published during the first week of September - the same week as the Republican Party's national convention in Minneapolis.
"I am truly excited about the opportunity to write a children’s book about my father, who is not only a fantastic dad, but also a great American," McCain said in a statement. "This book will offer children the unique opportunity to see the character building events that happened over his lifetime, experiences that led up to his current bid to become the future President of the United States."
Simon & Schuster said it will donate a portion of the proceeds from the book to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, an organization that aids military personnel and veterans who have brain injuries.
Meaghan McCain has already drawn attention for her writing this year - her campaign blog became a primary season phenomenon.
Probably not Dave. I don't even think they have that in Today's History Books. Have anyone notice that Republican Presidents and nominee's children write 'Children's Books'?

I have nothing against Senator McCain, but this is just retarded...

Hey, I know McCain is trying to reach a younger demographic, but this is ridiculous. Oh well, at least he will benefit from this, some of the proceeds are going to veterans who have brain injuries.

A military family; a prisoner of war; tortured; first wife in horrible car accident; cheated on first wife while still married ; dumped first wife for bimbo; Keating scandal; off-color jokes about daughter of former president; senile old goat who doesn't know what he's talking about.
Sounds like a delightful story for youngsters!
I also suggest her to write something for the military kids. Their parents are away from house for years, so she can explain to them how Dady doesn't want them to be home soon.

The book won't be under my Christmas Tree. Don't expect it to be on Oprah's list either.
Now is this a daughter from his first wife that McCain threw away when he came home to find her crippled and disfigured or a daughter from the current wife that he cheated with and married one month after he got divorced. I can't imagine she'd have too many good things to say about a man that calls his wife a trollop in public and even worst a c**t. I feel sorry for her.
