Obama: I am going to need Clintons

“They’re going to want to campaign actively on behalf of the Democratic ticket,” said Obama, “I am going to need them.”
“Bill Clinton is one of the most intelligent, charismatic political leaders that we have seen in a generation and he has got a lot of wisdom to impart,” he added.

Obama didn’t answer whether he’d spoken to the former president, but he did talk with Hillary Clinton on Sunday ahead of their joint campaign appearance on Friday in New Hampshire.
“[Senator Clinton’s] going to be a force to be reckoned with not only in the Senate but hopefully if I'm successful in the White House she's going to be one of my key partners in making sure that we’re moving forward on issues like healthcare that she cares so deeply about.”

UPDATE: Asked again if he will speak to Bill Clinton soon, Obama told reporters on his campaign plane, “I’m sure we will. He's in Europe right now which is the only reason we haven’t spoken. But we’re looking forward to setting up a long conversation."
Obama added that he spoke to Hillary Clinton on Tuesday and said they’re looking forward to campaigning together on Friday.

Billy Clinton was asleep on the watch while the 9/11 attack was being planned. He failed us, and failed us miserably. He murdered those people in the Trade Center with his complete carelessness. If he had actually done his job they would have acted upon the reports of the attack and/or atleast CAUGHT them before it happened. Bush gets in and has to deal with Billy's inability to do his job. And admittedly, Bush doesn't do all that good of a job either.
The Clintons have stolen far too much from our country, and I consider them a blemish in our history. Let's keep them out of here for good, they have done enough harm already.

Clinton supporters: Obama is far and away more aligned with the Clintons' stances than McCain. We need in Dem in the White House, so I hope that all Clinton supporters can come together for him.
Obama supporters: the Clintons still pull a lot of weight for some people, and it's both smart and appropriate of Obama to want tto utilize them.
Enough of the nasty primary feelings! It's general election time and we have to rally around Obama!!

Dang, what a bunch of babies on here. Most of us, in primary school, learn we DON'T ALWAYS GET OUR WAY 100%. Sounds to me like lots of the people on here (on all sides) were the kinds of kids who would take back their toys and go home.
