Obama: I am going to need Clintons

“They’re going to want to campaign actively on behalf of the Democratic ticket,” said Obama, “I am going to need them.”
“Bill Clinton is one of the most intelligent, charismatic political leaders that we have seen in a generation and he has got a lot of wisdom to impart,” he added.

Obama didn’t answer whether he’d spoken to the former president, but he did talk with Hillary Clinton on Sunday ahead of their joint campaign appearance on Friday in New Hampshire.
“[Senator Clinton’s] going to be a force to be reckoned with not only in the Senate but hopefully if I'm successful in the White House she's going to be one of my key partners in making sure that we’re moving forward on issues like healthcare that she cares so deeply about.”

UPDATE: Asked again if he will speak to Bill Clinton soon, Obama told reporters on his campaign plane, “I’m sure we will. He's in Europe right now which is the only reason we haven’t spoken. But we’re looking forward to setting up a long conversation."
Obama added that he spoke to Hillary Clinton on Tuesday and said they’re looking forward to campaigning together on Friday.
McCain has shown more respect than Obama ever has to the CLintons!!!

I am reading that Obama is ahead by double digits. Obviously he does not need the Clintons or anyone else. Let him do this on his own. Bill and Hillary do not dumb yourselves down by helping this clown. He is just patronizing both of you. You certainly won't get a fist bump from the Mrs.

Obama is still unelectable in November. Clinton would have beat McCain and I hope she only does what she absolutely has to do, nothing more, nothing less. This is the same creep who so wickedly used the race card against her and Bill. That was personal and not on the issues. Obama is a looser and would do anything to win. One of the things that scare me most is listening the media saying how Mrs. Obama hates Senator Clinton. I have heard that many times and never heard Mrs. Obama or Mr. Obama, saying anything about it.
I can expect anything negative from the Replublicans but as I see how the Democrats allow this attack their own constituents, I wont vote for them.
The only way that the Dems can come together is if the hate stops. But I can't see any of the obamabots willing to look beyond their pointy little noses and belive that another candidate could have any use.

It's about politics. Do what it takes to win. If you feel you need the Clintons, ask for them, after all they too are Americans.
On the campaign finance issue, everyone walks around complaining that the system is broken; well if you wish to reform the system, this is the way to do it.
