Dr. No? Who knows – Obama is a prevaricator of convenience! 🙁

And, a vote for the hard core Liberal Obama is a vote for an arrogant, pompous, devious, obfuscating, power-hungry guy with no moral center in the White House. It is thus a vote for the backward and downward spiral of America!

McCain 08! He is our only wise choice! 🙂

On June 25, 2008 we got tangible word that the North Pole is melting ... Global Warming is real despite what REPUBLICANS have been telling the American people for years.

So called "liberals" have been maligned for years as "tree huggers" and environmental "wack jobs" for pointing out this danger to the world and for advancing policies to reverse these trends. Well, who is wacky & wet now?

McCains call for more hydrocarbon based fuels is ALL WRONG. (Coal ... really bad; Oil ... bad; Natural gas ... minimally bad). We don't need to open any more off shore drilling leases. 1st of all, we have not maxed out our current inventory of potential offshore locations. 2nd, we should not be encouraging more fossil fuel consumption.

On the topic of nuclear though, McCain's advisors have coached him well though and I'd like to encourage Senator Obama to speak salliently about how he'd would impliment a nuclear power strategy.

Electricity from nuclear is typically cheaper. Nuclear also allow us to collect, contain and manage the harmful byproducts of producing this energy in a way that we are not currently doing with coal & oil. In that sense, nuclear can be better than hydrocarbon.

However, the ultimate source of power for the earth has alway been and will always be the sun.

Through photovoltaics, wind turbines, geo-thermal, plant conversion (cellulous, not corn, ethanol) we can capture this solar originated energy. I'd like to see scientific research on the creation of a synthetic a "Carrier fuel" which can take thermal and electrical energy and store it in a stable, clean oxidizing ("burning') liquid.

With that in place, we'd keep energy in balance for the eternity of mankind. We would die when the sun would die. Right now, we're disrupting a careful balance and we need to stop it. We should not be so arrogant as to think that the Human Race can stop the momentum of the world once it starts moving too far in a particular direction.
