Campaign manager Rick Davis also said McCain was outspending Barack Obama on the airwaves by a wide margin.

I'm happy to here it. When Obama wins the election there should be no more complaints above "out of control" spending. McCain = Bush......................Hello!

And so he adopts a big grin on his face as he announces the fact that he raised more money. So... in other words he thinks he can buy the election by spending more, this after bitterly whining over how Obama was getting his money without using taxpayer funds.
Please don't sell your vote to McCain by falling for his propaganda.

This is exactly why Obama opted out of public financing. If Obama HAD excepted public financing, the GOP would still have had this cash – They wouldn't have complained about Obama opting out and they would not have made this announcement. Obama made the correct decision and the GOP knows it. Wait until Sept. and Oct., I doubt you will see McCain crowing so much.

I thought this would happen. Once the republicans learned how dangerous Obama and his policies are toward america and the hatred he , his wife and friends spew toward america . The money will come in along with the votes now. Republicans are not show ponies like the democrats. They will turn out in the general.

THE McCAIN CAMP AT L;EAST WILL HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO LAUNCH THE COMING (NASTY?) AD WARS ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL. THE BIGGER WQUESTION IS WHETHER OR NOT THERE WILL BE WAR WITH IRAN BEFORE BUSH'S TERM ENDS IN JANUARY. THE IRANIANS ARE RAMPING UP THEIR WAR-LIKE THREATS AND BENT ON MAKING NUCLEAR BOMBS. PRESIDENT BUSH HAS MADE IT CLEAR IRAN CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO HAVE NUKES. IN SIX MONTHS IRAN WILL HAVE ENOUGH ENRICHED URANIUM TO MAKE A NUKE WEAPON. IS BUSH GOING TO WAIT FOR IRAN TO HAVE THE BOMB AND BE ABLE TO RETALIATE WITH SUCH A WMD ..WHAT IF BETWEEN NOW AND JANUARY 2009,
IRAN SUDDENLY SUCCESFULLY TESTS AND EXPLODES
AN ATOMIC EXPLOISION IN THEIR VAST DESERT PLACES.?

Not really big news.. most of that money is the RNCs... and that has to be spread across the party.. Obama supporters are giving to Obama.. I smell an enthusiasm gap among the GOP

Tejano, I think it is safe to say that you speak only for yourself. Polling data shows that Obama is way ahead in the latino vote.

McCain has nothing new to offer. The country is looking for a fresh direction. The choice is obvious. Barack the vote!

Obama raised 270 million in the primaries....the DNC was almost no cash so Obama took it over.

Obama has Special Interest Groups running ads for him, so don't go getting on your high horse. Also Obama's BIGGEST cash bundlers work for big oil...

So where is the McCian money coming from the top 1%, or as Bush put it so amply, some call you the top 1%, I call you my base.

Who cares, McCain can flood the airways but it will not cancell the past 8 years of Republican blundering, missteps, a failed economic, energy and foreign policy.
