Obama gets a lift from the King

(CNN) - Running for president, Obama is used to getting driven around - but perhaps not by royalty.

Following his meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah II, the Democratic presidential nominee got a lift to the airport from none other than the monarch himself, in a royal Mercedes.

The airport drive followed a meeting between the two men during which the king reportedly repeated his long-standing view that a Palestinian state is vital to ending the Arab-Israeli conflict.

What's more impressive? Getting a ride to the airport or being involved in delicate national security matters? Remember when McCain was in Columbia the same time the hostages were rescued? McCain was briefed by the Columbian government BEFORE it happened. Do you really think Obama would have been? Do you really think Obama knows where Columbia is on a map? I bet he would end up at Five Points, just down from The University of South Carolina . . .

Another republican backfire? McCain constantly hammers Obama for not visiting the region and now Obama draws support from every direction he looks. When the king himself gives you a lift from the airport you know you have respect.

Maybe he will offer him a job and Nobama can just stay over there. We won't miss him and certainly do not need him.
Just go away I am sick of hearing about you. Oh,,, and take your wife with you.

It's good to see Obama acting so presidentially, and being accorded the respect of other leaders around the world. There's hope for America yet!

The monarch and Mr. Obama are about the same generation, I think. Except that the monarch is probably a little bit younger, but one the progressive one in the middle East indeed.

Both of them will work well together for sure.

    Landslide Obama.

No world leader /nation wants to see another bush in Washington. We just can't fix what bush has broken by voting for McCain.

And this is news?? How many times must every minute thing this man does be pushed on us? What did they discuss? Why take this trip now after so many years of problems? Ok I forgot that OB has only been in his seat for a few years but still never paid any attention until now? And this is not a photo op/free media ride on our tax money? Please spare me.. How much can be talked about and "solved" in a few hours? From reading the majority of these posts I would think that now the world loves America again all because of this man. How foolish some people are.. I'm waiting to find out how many times and when OB has a bowel movement!! Now that is news...
